That's quite an unfair comparison, seeing as this plan is unique in this way. Applying that reasoning to any comparison will have the same result, as it is a question geared towards the inclusion of a feature found uniquely in this product.

Does Amaysim charge only for the days used?
Its not just a feature unique to the deal, its THE feature of note.
This is a great plan for someone like me who can go weeks without using a mobile phone except to receive authentification codes but occasionally needs to make a lot of calls while on the road.
I believe the daily level is charged on the first outbound standard national call, text, MMS, Voicemail or data use each day so if you only receive call or text, you won't be charged.

Just need id as it's prepaid.
Actually did this today and only had a USA drivers license which was good enough.
$2/day with 500MB data, only pay for the days you use it. if 80 won't cut it for you.
or buy directly from Optus for $19.00 now
seems like a good plan. I had Amaysim Go plan as I rarely use my phone and it has no flagfall for international calls. Optus also has no flagfall and the rates are cheaper than Amaysim… ANd my guess is the $1/day wont get deducted if you make only international calls on a particular day
Seems like pretty solid value, especially the data if you can plan ahead
