Humble Mobile Bundle 7 - Pay Whatever You Like

170

It's finally time for another Humble Mobile Bundle!

This isn't one of their best by a long shot. Color Zen has been in there before (and isn't that fun anyway) and Kingdom Rush is… well… Kingdom Rush. But that still leaves 4 others for under AU$3.50 at the moment.

WARNING: Horn is published by Zynga. My strong recommendation: manually manage where your money goes and make sure you allocate $0.00 to Horn. Anything less is funding terrorism.

EDIT: I take it back. Sorcery is a glorified ebook, Tiny Bang is a glorified 'hidden object' game, Horn is what Infinity Blade might have been like if it was made in the 90s in Klik & Play, and Heroes of Loot is yet another lackluster PC port with clumsy touchscreen 'joystick' controls tacked on as an afterthought. This isn't just not 'one of their best', it's one of their worst. I'd neg my own post if I could.

Sorcery! is a fantastic game! I wouldn't write it off so quickly if you haven't tried it. It's very well written and has more replayability than most console games nowadays :P

    • Yeah I enjoyed Sorcery, anyone know if this is just the first instalment included in the bundle?

  • Purchased and took your advice.

Actually I just read that Zynga have pulled out of interfering with Horn because of the bad feedback, as such, feel free to give money to the developers.

No need to be so critical of the games for no reason. These games are enjoyable in their own rights, you just happen to have different expectations of them. Tiny Bang and Sorcery! isn't "glorified" anything, they are interactive games, actually one of the original kind of videogames, infact. Most of these titles are good in their own ways, and I'm sure the extra games that comes out on week 2 will make the BTA price more then worth it.

    • Yep, the extra games really made this bundle.
Swordigo - been in multiple previous bundles already.
Soda Can Pro - should be in its own $15 tier. Pure gold.

Alpha Wave is the only half worth while thing in the entire BTA tier. I still rate this bundle a failure.
