PB-1000 for $599
PB12-NSD for $799
SB-1000 for $599

no better than the ue boombox deal from dse…

    • +2

Um, you do realise what you're comparing to here?
These speakers are in a different league.

      • yep SVS have a excellent reputation in the US

i believe they even supply professional cinemas

their tube shaped passives is a signature item

        • Yeah, it's good stuff. I have a pair of the Ultra Bookshelves, a PB-1000, and I ordered an Ultra Center yesterday.

  • Great Value!! You cant buy it since you need request total to get invoice for shipping. It lets you buy it but does not let you pay it.

Risky buying it and getting invoice before the CELEBRATE15 code expires.

Is it confirmed the CELEBRATE15 Expires tomorrow? or does it expire tonight?

    • It has been extended by another 24 hour, so 11:59PM 16th of september

    • I was able to order and pay through Paypal, got the shipping notification this afternoon. Where are you having it delivered?

      • NSW. It does'nt let me :(

      • Did you get the invoice after Buy It Now? I just purchased minutes after the deal but it would'nt let me pay via Paypal.

Is says "One or more of the items below can't be purchased because the seller hasn't specified freight postage fees
To continue checkout, see your options below"

        Then below it says:

Please contact the seller to request total for the freight postage fee.

Continue option disabled. I guess until I get the invoice, I cannot pay. So not until business hours tomorrow.

        • I didn't need to get an invoice, mine went through with free shipping. I'm sure you'll be able to contact them tomorrow to sort it out.

        • @Mr tone:

You must live where it has free freight. Some states don't.

        • @Mr tone: I logged into cashrewards and then clicked on ebay. Since I was already logged in, it let me buy it. However when I clicked But It now, It asked me log in to eBay again. When I logged in, it refused to proceed due to the above error message requiring me to request postage.

Really worried that cashrewards might not have registered. How do I check and is there a way for cashrewards to register the transaction.

          Thanks.

        • @Morien: But I'm in Sydney. I should have got free freight?

        • @sk280:

On the one I have ordered, everywhere but NT/WA is free.

        • @Morien: Yes I'm aware. I checked too before clicking on 'Buy It Now'.

Morien, have you been able to pay as well, without requesting a quote?

        • @Mr tone: Yes they invoiced me Morning today and I paid and got $100 off. However it really is only $50 off compared to their website.

Also am not sure if cashrewards for me. I started an Incognito window, signed into cash rewards, clicked on eBay store, searched for the sub and clicked Buy It Now. I could not pay however as I had to wait for me to invoice me. When I eventually paid via Paypal, am not sure it registered with cashrewards. I'll know in 2-3 days I guess.

        • @sk280: Sorry, late reply. Nope, had to get a quote.

  • Great value for the models listed.

If you are after their premium models and can wait, they usually have a 10% during December.

  • $100 off plus 2% cashrewards makes this deal look very attractive.

I've been looking at the SB-100 for a bedroom setup and where I want to place the sub. Mainly for Music, Gaming and Movies. Was looking for a nice sounding compact sub. Since the PB is a bit over sized for my room size. Is this a good sub to get in my situation?

    • For a bedroom, I think the SB-1000 is a good fit.

    • g12345567: If you are purchasing today, since its after business hours, you might have to wait for them to invoice you to pay by Paypal to get the 15% off that ends today. This happened to me twice and I had to wait for them to invoice me. If this does happen to you, politely send them an email to cancel the transaction. You can always buy from their website for $50 less.

As I see it, the saving is only $50 if cashrewards does'nt work. Am not sure if cashrewards worked me. I'll know in 2-3 days I guess.

      • What did you buy sk280? The speaker I bought was $100 cheaper than their website.

        • PB12NSD. I had been saving up for a long time. Finally pulled the trigger.

It will $78 if cashrewards worked else only $50. The website has them on special for $850 + free shipping.

          Here: http://www.elite-electronics.com.au/Home_Entertainment/Subwo…

        • @sk280: Congrats on the new sub! I guess some of their prices vary between the websites, didn't realize!

        • @Mr tone: Thanks. Which one did you get? Were you able to pay immediately or did you have to wait for them to send an invoice (2 step process). Have you got your cashrewards yet?

        • @sk280: I bought the Ultra Centre, andwas able to pay immediately through Paypal. Perhaps it has something to do with the physical size of the package?

        • @Mr tone: Yep, that is it. The ultra centre is free shipping all over australia. No freight. Hence you were able to pay via Paypal. Mystery solved. If you look at the listing of the subwoofer it has freight in it. Hence the 2 step process.

BTW did you get your cashrewards yet?

        • @sk280: Cashrewards came through for me yesterday.

        • @Mr tone: ANother mystery solved. So I wont get cashrewards then as its a 2 step transaction for me. Oh well, expected it.

        • @sk280:

Thats right. I just tried with a subwoofer purchase. Even though it says postage free in the checkout. It still tells me to "Please go to Cart to request a total from the seller". In that case I definitely won't get postage in time to use the discount coupon or get cashrewards. In that case I will just cancel the order since its a 2 step process.

        • @g12345567: Aaargh I just replied to you not to purchase it :( Oh well, send them an email straight away that you purchased the sub in error, am sure they will cancel it first thing tomorrow.

BTW: You would'nt have received cashback anyway. I didnt. So you didnt lose much, am sure there'll be another sale in 3 months.

        • @sk280:
Done. Hopefully they cancel the order tomorrow. Since I won't be able to use the discount coupon after tonight or get Cashrewards.

        • @g12345567: Yes they will cancel the order, dont worry.

  • I'm in NSW where it has free shipping. Was wondering if I order the SB-1000 will the order go straight through or do I still have to wait for the seller to update the order for free shipping. If so I will probably order. If not then I might wait till next sale time. I was actually looking at the $100 savinge + 2% cash back which makes this the cheapest I have seen it for.

    • Yes its the cheapest so far. However am not sure if it'll go through. I've asked the questions here. I tried twice. My eBay account was logged on. My Paypal was logged on and yet it did not let me pay. AFAIK its a manual process when the seller sends the invoice. You may try your luck as you have nothing to lose. If it turns out you cant enter the code, just send them a polite email and they will cancel your order. Be aware its only email/ebay messages though. They dont have a telephone contact. All the best. Please let us know how you went.

      • So likely won't be able to purchase until I get the postage quote confirmed. Even though it says free postage. It won't allow you to pay for the item until as the seller needs to manually update the order before you can pay.

        • I dont think you'll be able to pay tonight. So dont buy it and wait for the december sale. Am sure it'll be cheaper than now.
