        it appers we're both wrong

        full price including delivery = $138.95
        ebay discount 15% is applied to full price = $20.84
        cashrewards cash back 2% is applied to only the item price without delivery = $2.68

        amount you end up paying = $115.43

  There have been plenty of 2TB portables for cheaper than this lately. I don't think this is a bargain.

    Agree with all those discounts and deals flying around lately. It makes this 2tb external portable look expensive. Considering as CVonV said above this Toshiba can be had today during eBays 15% of sale for $10-15 less.

  Toshiba drives are pretty reliable. Especially when compared to seagate.
  Cash rewards will bring it down to $121.52
  And the current amex promotion can bring it down a further $15 to $106.52. Pretty good deal in my opinion.

  I have one of these, Toshiba make reliable hard drives in my experience.
  Not sure if it's a deal at that price though.
