      Like where?

    • +2

Seriously, you still haven't learnt to stop abusing '…'?

      • -7

        stop abusing

        huh ???

where in my question is it 'abusive' ?

    • +7

Please provide links for cheaper matching items

For a person that expects posters to do their research and back it up with best prices, surely you would be happy to do the same.

I'm interested in the solar panel- anyone know if it's any good?

    • Cheaper to buy direct on eBay..

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321516856554

I buy all the time from this seller and had zero issues.

      • +1

Price does not appear to be any cheaper buying similar setup from that seller. pay a premium for folding ability, bag, regulator etc.

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321471911073

        • The aldi one does not come with a regulator

    [deal_posting_guidelines] (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guidelin…)

"7. Summarise briefly why it is a bargain - why did you buy it or consider it worth sharing? How does the price compare to elsewhere? Can you comment from personal experience on the quality of the product?"

Aldi has "special buys" every week, can OP share which items are a bargain?

    • +4

Bubble rocket is $18 on ebay plus shipping?

A lot of shops have sales regularly, that doesn't mean their items aren't bargains does it?

For me, ozbargain is about publicising good prices for things that other people otherwise wouldn't have seen.

    • +16

And some of us (including myself) get really excited about what special buys they have each week. Their products are usually cheaper or the same as elsewhere EXCEPT typically higher quality than similar items at similar prices. Plus at Aldi you get the 60 day money back guarantee, which you don't get elsewhere.

Let us know when you post a deal yourself.

      I'll help the OP…
Motorcycle ramp ($49) is roughly $20 cheaper than average elsewhere…
Camping mats ($10) are similar to bunnings @$15…
Portable hammock ($50) looks like value to me, think similar is usually ~ $100+…
6V battery ($2.50) should be similar to Woolies home brand @$7.89…
4 fold table is great value,52ltr storage tub is cheap….
…that enough to satisfy the guidlines?

      • +7

Also, I paid $100 (haggled down from $110) for my cat scratching post, which is quite elaborate… yet still smaller than the $70 at Aldi.

Suggestions on what to do with the Solar panel (and battery) to save even more money?

    • +5

Suggestions on what to do with the Solar panel (and battery) to save even more money?

      Suggestion #1: Don't buy them = 100% saving.

What exactly are you trying to ask?

      • +1

        lol nice

    • +1

I think a good start would be to buy an invertor aafter you get panels. Or else it could be an expsive rain shade.

    • +3

Hook 'em direct into your stash of Eneloops and see what happens?

      • +3

BAM and the hands are gone

    • +1

On a serious note, you can find plenty of thing to use it for on www.instructables.com. I'd buy Mono cells and put it together my self, which is what i got with 15% off on ebay.

  • That trampoline looks tiny, or those are some really large kids!

    • +1

A 6ft trampoline is absolutely useless.

We had a 10 foot round and my kid complained it was too small.

      • +1

I dont know how big your kid is!

  • +2

    Thanks op :-)

  • Can some one commment on the 12V DEEP CYCLE LEAD ACID BATTERY 40A $99.99 ?Is it AGM SLA tech ? Where i can find out more about the specs ?

    • +1

Says sealed lead acid on the web site. Looks quite small. Searching Ebay AU you can get the same for $98.10 with free postage. Might be alright, might not. It's on the value end of the scale.

  • +1

Disappointed. Usually I'm tempted by something in their annual camping catalog but for this one I'm just meh.

  • Same Aldi advertising as last week from OP. No links to comparative items to be seen. While I respect the time and effort, let's not assume every Aldi item is a bargain. It's just cut'n'paste.

  • +1

Does anyone own the baseball pitcher? Any good?
It says it comes with EVA balls, can I put in proper baseballs and would it work?
    Thanks

    • Save your money by not buying this one. The balls are made of foam as the machine would not be strong enough to launch anything else.
