Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 Download AUD $80.36

22

Looking for Elements 12, and found this one.
It's download only though, not a biggie for me, I don't like collecting disc.

Only less than 12 hours before the deal is finished.

  • Would this be a better deal?

$66.56(+$8.97 delivery) AUD (google currency conv) on Amazon… http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-65225054-Photoshop-Elements-12/d…
US$10 cheaper for the "PC only" download version too (requires US address).

"Note: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address."

I'm guessing there's probably an easy workaround though

Geeze, don't you have a holiday home in the US from all the money you've saved on OzBargain? I have a nice place in Oregon, no sales tax either funnily enough.

        • I do as well, mine's in Delaware.

        • kinda like how a friend of a friend 'lives' at a hotel in another state to swap his drivers license over to bypass victorian p plate vehicle restrictions? :P

          @mr kindface:
Well.. not really. That's actually illegal.

This is just bypassing geoblocking, which isn't illegal at all.

    • Charging delivery… for a digital download??

      • Non-digital copy requires delivery (and is still cheaper than OP's "bargain"). Digital is $10 USD cheaper and with no delivery charge…

    • For the last couple of years, Amazon has discounted the Premiere Elements + Photoshop Elements bundle to approx $70 USD during the Black Friday sales, so if you can wait there's a fair chance that you'll be able to get both for about the same price.

PC/Mac version is AUD 78.30 shipped to AU from amazon.

    • Hey, Thanks I purchased from Amazon

    • So it is cheaper than the op deal. And you get disks as a backup.

  • I purchased Photoshop Elements thinking it would be an ok alternative to actual Photoshop. There are so many missing features. It's awful.

For a long time it was a slightly cut down version with a similar interface but they gimped it (pun intended) at some point so they could sell the full thing.

It's not as user friendly but for home use I recommend free software like GIMP, Rawtherapee, Paint.NET etc.

I got this free somewhere - maybe with a scanner or something, be worth seeing if you can get it that way.

If you had to buy a scanner to get this, it wasnt free my friend.

  • Is this the new version? They usually release in September
