EDIT: I have just recieved another email regarding the same code, this time it indicates that the sale ends 21 September 2014…I will check to see if the code still works after that and update again

There have been quite a lot of camera deals so I would not be surprised that a few of you will be in the market for lenses etc.

KEH is based in the US and therefore there will be usual sting in the shipping price. But they have a great range, solid rating system and good prices. I often buy from them to save the stress of eBay. On the one occaision when an order arrived damaged they were very helpful and quick to provide a full refund (I didn't even have to send the gear back).

      They are really wonderful to deal with as well. If you have not used them before, the advice to to go for the EX grade stuff and higher.

        KEH underrate their gear pretty heavily. Even something in 'G' is the kind of condition ebayers would call 'ZOMG EXC+++++ !'

    Nice, didn't know about KEH before and their prices seem pretty good.

    Now to sift through the mud of 'UG' grade lenses to find a cheap macro lens with a Nikon mount.

        Yeah…. not going be by purchasing through KEH.

        Shame too, I felt like a kid in a candy store who was just hit by a sudden onset of diabetes.

          @c0balt actually, try putting the same lenses through the http://classic.keh.com site, a while back I found that it gave me cheaper shipping. It is worth checking to see if there is a difference

          There is better primary level filtering (eg.)

          brand (Nikon) > sub category (MFG fixed focal length lenses)

          then it is all sorted by focal length. Howver, the search function on the classic site sucks

          The new site is getting better, but initally there were a lot fewer filtering options (and there are still some strange results at times).

          I am interested as to what c0balt was trying to ship to get such high shipping costs

        I think forwarding wont be cheap.. glass is heavy.. lucky i have a friend who lives in the US coming back top OZ soon
