Lots of men's leather shoes 50% off between $29.95 and $44.95. Well it's Rivers so you know the quality :) Depending on the brand they might vary between awful to mediocre. I do however own a few pairs of their shoes because of their price (and working from home means I don't actually need to wear shoes often).

    rivers is one of those brands that really annoy me now, they went from selling high quality Australian stuff (that used to last for years) to chinese shite that might as well come from a fleamarket

      Its been a few years since I have worn Rivers shoes but the 3 pair I had all fell apart after little wear.
      Don't know if they have lifted their game or still flogging garbage?

        I bought an expensive ($120) pair of Rivers Aviator boots in the early 90s - they lasted 10 years.

        Replaced them with Aviators (still expensive) in the mid-2000s - they lasted 10 months. The sole just cracked wide open in multiple places, and basically collapsed. Never again.

        Having said that, I bought a pair (cheaply) of their sandals a couple of years ago, and they have held up very well.

        So I guess the message is - stick with the cheaper stuff. And even then YMMV.

  I just bought a pair of Calvin Klein leather shoes from Brand House Direct for $69.90 delivered (using a $10 voucher discount). Possibly last longer than one of these Rivers shoes.

  I would steer clear of Rivers brand nowadays. The quality is just not there!!

  I've been OK with their clothing but my last experience with their shoes put me of their footwear.

  On the other hand I know people who have managed to get a few years out of their leather shoes from rivers

  I bought leather sandals. Soft & comfortable. 3 years passed and they are still great.
  Also bought sneakers and love them. Nice & comfy. Have been wearing for about 10 months now.
  However, will never buy any shoes online. They have to be tried on, as even the same size varies a lot depending on the style, model and material.
