    • Sounds…. delicious!

I might buy one for $89 if it comes with a 5 year warranty.

    • How long is the warranty comes with the $89 price tag? Can't find it on their website.

  • this can never sell at RRP to be honest, because the philips one can be had for a bit under $200.

that said, it's cheap enough to buy and try for someone who are new to air fryers.

      Kambrook 149
      Russells Hobbs 99
      Logan 99 before
      Arena - 89

    • That's why I 'm asking them to throw in the extended warranty free of charge.

      • +2

        haha tough sell :P

i don't think my philips will last that long… but hey, ball's in rep's court. hehe.

  • In my opinion, Avancer is not like the typical cheap rebadged stuff. I think it is better than Kambrook or Russell Hobbs.

    • +1

May I ask why you think Avancer is better than the rebadged stuff? I thought they are the same, all rebadged.
Don't get me wrong, but I don't know much about Avancer apart from seeing some post here at OZbargain, most of them are doubl-walled glasses. Anyone can explain more of it? Thanks.

      • +1

Because Avancer cares to establish a brand, and place much emphasis on service and keeping their customers happy. That sets them apart from the dodgy rebadgers, who would not bother spending $$$ on trying to build up a reputation (since they know their products are bad anyway, so it would be a waste of money).
I could be mistaken, but I have not seen any Avancer products appear under different names, either (unlike the stuff you see appear on dealsdirect). I bought glassware and an induction cooker from Avancer, and it looks like quality. The induction cooker does not look and feel like a cheaply manufactured product.
Of course I can be wrong.

How does Avancer compare to the Philips one which is about $200. I've been thinking of buying the Philips.

    • Interested to know as well…

Can I get the recipe book too? I've been waiting for 2 months for this thing.

    • Same here. They better ship them on Monday.

  • Do these really work? no sticky oil smoke?

    • +1

if you get sticky oil smoke, it means you did not clean it out after use.

  • Rep plz bring this Kettle deal back https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/151959
This Air fryer should come with 3 years warranty like last time https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/138362

  • +1

tempted to buy but I don't see the point of buying if the deal is not as good as before (which comes with 3 years' warranty) :(
Rep could consider bringing the 3 years' warranty as an extension of this deal to make it sweeter for us all who ordered thru pre-sale?

  • ordered mine 9 July ….. lol Delay Delay…… Surpose to ship 22/9 would have been good to get a extended Warranty not real happy …..:(

    • Actually it was supposed to ship on the 8th.

I have no axe to grind with the product being discussed but I bought one of these air fryers about 18 months back, and have used it at least 2-3 times a week since. It's been fantastic, no dramas except a few screws on the basket getting loose and needing tightening. I bought one for a friend as a gift after she raved about the chicken cooked in mine. I just toss "drummettes" the big joint of wings - in potato flour and spice mix and airfry them, maybe with a tiny drizzle of oil to get extra crispness.

I think they are $99 plus delivery at present. Full price is about $129. Worth every cent in my opinion.

    Cheerz Wabster.

  • How does this fair in performance compared to the more expensive models like :

    https://www.jbhifihome.com.au/Avance-Collection-Airfryer-XL.…

Are they smaller capacity, harder to clean, not as powerful, all the above?
