I have just noticed it on Steam's top seller list for $14.39 and decided to check GMG and found that you could use the QRJ1I6-2SSDU0-LN9UUG code to bring its price down to $12.24.

Please note that this is a preorder and the game will be released on 9 October 2014. I can't comment on the quality of the game as I have never owned a PS3, but I'm psyched to play it on PC.

The more patient OZbargainers could probably wait until Steam's Christmas Sales as it would probably be discounted heavier by then.

  4 years too late. Can't believe they decided to release a PC version. They said they wouldn't do it due to piracy, but I guess PC gamers no longer pirate stuff.

    4 years ago they dont have a good PC DRM solution. I believe they think their DRM is quite solid now after releasing quite a few of their games on steam thus it is a good time to release? Probably they want to milk the hell out of the ff13 trilogy as well.

      Could they not have used Steam? Everyone else does (including Square themselves). If they're going to pirate the game, it's going to happen no matter what DRM they use.

      Also, I want to know why Square thinks the FF13 series is endearing to fans. The second game sold far less than the first, and the third sold far less than the second.

        God knows why they could not just use steam. I think the game is on steam plus a square Enix DRM as well. Very dumb.

        But to be honest I think they put a lot of effort into creating the universe. The linearity is just like other typical RPG anyway. I would have prefer some hotter main character :/

        @Letrico: The characters are not very interesting at all, and not likeable. For me it's not just the linearity. I hate Lightning.

  I own all 3 haven't put more than 20 hours in to them total.

  At least now it's on pc we can mod it.

    Did you play 20 hours of the original, decided it sucked but bought the sequels anyway? Or did you play a few hours of each?

    Either way, not a smart thing to do.

    First thing you should mod, is something that makes Vanille's voice less painful. Hopefully there's a "Ghetto thug" voice dub for her. Because it can't be worse than HIGH PITCHED SQUEALING AUSTRALIAN ACCENT, GAAARH!!!

      Agreed, I played like 3 to 4 hours on the original on PS3 and couldn't stand her voice… I'd buy this just to get the japanese voices with english subs…

      Anyone know how to purchase the Asia version?
