  • Webjet Booking Price Guarantee $ 9.95
    Webjet Processing Fee $ 19.95

    • There is also the Qantas Credit Card Surcharge $ 7.70 even if you're not paying by credit card.

Definitely not worth it unless you are buying very expensive domestic airfares.

If you book directly through Qantas you will get the same base price, but without the booking fees and the credit card surcharge (if paying by Bpay).

  • I have never liked webjet because of their fees. This latest so called deal still doesn't get them over the line in my view. As mentioned above go direct to qantas.com and save moeny by avoiding webjet fees.

  • I dont see the reason to use webjet, book with the airlines and avoid paying more for the seat than nescessary.

If you want to search flights then use http://adioso.com/
They find the flight and you book it with the airline and its free.

  • I don't disagree with many of your comments but I will say that I have previously come across flights that were cheaper on webjet (incl fees) than the airline offered. This was for the exact same flights. Also, if you were, hypothetically, booking a big/expensive domestic trip with qantas (perhaps bus class), then this has the potential to be a good saving. Although I, and it appears many of you guys, are unlikely to use the deal, I thought some people may have found it good. Ahh wells, never mind. :)
