This is my first post. A good sounding bluetooth portable speaker for a great price Usually A$129. I was just looking for aptX codec supported bluetooth speaker, this one I found. Just received the package. Sound quality is much better than highly priced speakers around in market.

apt-x is a bluetooth codec that allows for better quality than A2DP.
both the player and receiver need to support apt-x tho, otherwise it will default back to A2DP.
Ah interesting, thought it would be. Will check out what the bitrate is and if it is possible to install it on phones etc.

simplifies the bluetooth pairing process? or rhetorical?
lets you connect and pair the speaker to your phone by just tapping (handy if you have NFC in your phone, not so handy if you have a pre-2014 iPhone)
Or even a current one as the new IPhones' NFC chips only work with Apple Pay. At least for now.
yup, apple have yet again locked the feature. Only apply pay can use the nfc, apple hasn't relased the api for it.
