    Bought 2. Seems like a great solution for quick and easy mounting. Was a bit worried about the magnet, but it has plenty of positive reviews. I also like that it's less likely to attract a car break-in, that a standard phone/GPS mount might.

    I had this one before, the only problem is that the magnetic ring is a bit too big, you will probably experience about 3 4mm thickness which is a great deal compare with how this nowadays device is, look a bit dumb with the phone. However they work fine nonetheless

    I bought something similar or exactly the same, it doesn't support the weight of my S4.

    I am now using the Logitech system which has a slim plate instead and is much stronger.

    The only different between this generic version and the Genuine Steelie, is the magnet. The magnet on the genuine Steelie is a lot stronger, so less chance of slipping. Either way if you buy this version it'll still be good, value for money.

    A Steelie retail around $50. Ive been using a sterile for close to a year now and no issue with the magnet/does not affect the iPhone in any way, maybe slightly the compass.

    Just a tip; if you are getting one, either this or Steelie don't stick it in an area where direct sunlight will hit your phone, the phone will overheat, bla bla bla….

    Looks ok but the fact that this can't easily be removed from both car and phone when not in use. Since it uses a permanent adhesive pad. That needs replacing when removed and time too settle in before use. Rather than a removable pad/suction cup design. Is a deal breaker.

    Hi Guys, a really dumb question. how is the magnet gonna stick to my phone? do I need a steel cover for the phone? seems like the cover is not included in the box.

      If the ball is magnetic you can use a steel cover or attach a small metal plate to the back of your existing cover, but in this case, part of the kit you will get a magnetic ring - mentioned in the Package Included - "1 x Magnetic Ring"
