    Honest question: what is the point of buying cheap-shit batteries knowing that they aren't going to be reliable? I get buying eneloops or stocking up when energizers are on special, but why bother with these?

      For some things like remotes, which only need changing every 1-2 years. Easier and cheaper to use these, each to his own.
