I was wondering whether to get one, but I found some not-so-good reviews on Whirlpool forum, but it seems they get different stocks…

      • Whirlpool hey? The weight limit of the chair is 120kg so take any review saying the chair busted for no reason and is junk etctera etcetera with a grain of salt….

I have been trying to get chair for a while.
Do you reckon it is ergonomic? I didn't mind spending upto $150. I was looking at those racer chairs at office works. I would expect $79 at Aldi is probably same quality as $150 at officeowkrs

Definitely better than most chairs from OFW. You can just buy this one and see how it feels after a week's usage. If it doesn't seem comfy then you can always return (aldi has a 60day return policy).

      • Good suggesion. That's what I'll do. Thanks

    • Not ergonomic, sorry. Any office chair that has the arms fixed to the back rest will not be.

  • inb4 piece of shit, if youre gonna be on it for >2 hours a day buy one that wasnt designed for cheapness

    • any suggestions?

      • Herman Miller Aeron…

          <$300 please…….

        • There's a decent ergonomic chair at costco for $350, it was pretty comfy last time I tried.

I think the word "Premium" here is misleading

    Maximum recommended weight hold: 120kgs

this alone should indicate that it's just a cheap quality chair similar to the cheaper ones at officeworks…

I think the word "Premium" here is misleading

It's the name of the product, not the OPs opinion.
But, i agree… it's not a premium chair, compared to others out there.

a premium one usually refers to the ones with long warranty like 5 - 10 years.

I bought one of their non-premium mesh back chairs previously, also rated to 120KG.

Was quite comfortable and lasted 4-6 months until one day I leaned back and the thin metal securing the gas lift to the seat sheared and I landed on my head. YMMV

    PS I'm only 90KG

  • I'm sitting on one of the out-today Aldi chairs.

Sweaty faux leather - OK if you are in air-con and wear jeans
It is very comfortable for the price (compared to OW)
Its less comfortable then a real $300+ office chair

    • Do you think it's worth the $80 price?

  • Bought the chair. Quite happy with it.
