Why was this removed in the first place?

    • +2

The link died and was down for ages, so I asked the mods to remove. When it came back, there were errors on the page and I thought maybe they'd pulled the offer. And me being me, I kept trying. Let's hope it holds up this time.

      • The link died and was down for ages,

It is on a free host.

After clicking submit it takes to some Iphone prize survey, it's spam and rubbish! Avoid!

    • Close the popup, and you'll see your order was successful.

Exactly! Sites that do that on a supposedly free giveaway are always scams. They are supposed to be a fabric business!

      EDIT:
Thanks for the neg you gullible fool.

Disconnected Phone number and no such address.
Website was cloned from a genuine fabric business (years ago).
They run this scam all the time - just changing the free item.

      EDIT:
Thanks for the pos vote intelligent OzBargainer - whoever you are.

Thanks A3. I've asked the mods to investigate.

      • I am expiring this for now. Currently,

        1. The TS Loris Site is unable to take the form submission request. Getting 503 error when I tried. Has anyone received a confirmation that the form has been submitted?

        2. A window popped up which will then redirect you to a survey site (after passing you through affiliate network).

Has anyone received a confirmation that the form has been submitted?

It does not matter - if a form gets submitted or not.

          There is no such business.
There is no such street number.
There is no such phone number.
          It is a scam.

        • Try now scotty. Seems to be up again, and yes, I received confirmation.

        • Yeah I got the confirmation too

    I remember those sports socks…..

    • Haha, yes. I remember it well, as I posted it. Got pulled after 300 votes. Let's hope they come good on this offer :)

I always feel bad when one of these comes up worrying about whether the business can actually provide the freebie without losing more than they expected.

+1 to the deal but I'll leave 'my' free socks to someone in greater need!

thats how I feel, started to fill the form but changed my mind.

Has anyone here ever received samples from these guys?

I just spent 15 minutes trying to find out a bit about their sample offers and I couldn't find any mention of anyone ever receiving them. I did find a consumer complaint on Better Business Bureau from a few years ago though.

BBB was unable to locate business to process complaint (1 complaint)

Complaint: Hey I found this company on a website. They were offering a free scarf here for just adding your email and they will send a free Santa hat. Well sent out my request on 07-11-2011 and they say it takes 3 weeks to get it and it's kinda past due. I think this company is just saying stuff so they can get email address to sell them to other companys here … I do have the email and all here if you would need it here.
Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation) Just send me the Santa hat as they promised here ..
BBB's Final Determination: Business is out of business.

The fact that BBB was unable to even locate this business is a bit worrying.

Edit: I just realized that I wasted way too much time on researching free socks that are probably worth a dollar or 2 at best. I'm an idiot :D

They sure spent a lot of words detailing what they do with your personal information.
Definitely a scam. In any case, they claim to be US-based and wouldn't be insane enough to ship from Australia. But they can't anyway, because they're not real.
