      Bought this one three months ago- works very well but no audio. Can log in via the internet without knowing how to do DDNS stuff. Over the internet, you can pan the camera, set the motion sensor and email you photos when motion is detected, or upload video to dropbox. Best of all, only $46

    Is it easy to use the "Remote Internet Viewing" do you just do the usual <Find a WiFi network>, like on a mobile phone? or do you have to setup Port Forwarding in the modem and all that extra stuff?

      You can use the build in ddns functions to set up remote internet viewing. see how to configure remote settings on our youtube channel.

    Any recommendations on an IP camera WITHOUT wireless? I preinstalled cat6 inside and outside and intend to use power injectors for POE. Don't want to pay for the wireless feature if I'm not going to use it!

      as far as i know, most ip camera comes with wireless, and you can simply disabled it and use ethernet.

      Any suggestions for alternatives? I've seen FI8910W on sale on US sites for US$50-55 however wasn't in the market at the time. Would be good to get prices closer to this mark?

      Does anyone have experience with knock offs? Suggestions?

        i have foscam clone but it's different model (FI8908W). the unit kept on 'freeze' once or twice in a week. had to unplug the power supply for few hours then it would run smoothly again for few days, sometimes up to 2 weeks with no issues then rinse repeat

        i got it for 35 bux from dx when original was around 90 bux so i am not complaining but i think it's time for an upgrade

        seriously considering FI8910W as it's proven to be working with vera, i have 3 days to decide :)

    I would be in the market for some more but at this saving I am not going to buy right now, needs to be better to be honest

      Hi chelseas,

      Thanks for notifying us of the problem. We have contacted Foscam about this and apparently they are having issues updating the local partner link. We have since asked to be issued a official distributor certificate as a temporary work around and will be posting it on our website about Foscam WA.

      We will update this comment again to this once the certificate is available :)
