[Origin] Grow Your Collection Sale (UP to 70% OFF)

110

Not much to say about this deal other than that it's a good ol' sale, however knowing Origin they probably still make billions of dollars in this sale! But nonetheless there are some good deals if you wish to scroll through, it's a REALLY long list of items on sale.

Hope this helps someone out there!

ME Trilogy for $15 is a good deal

    • +1

Does this include all DLCs as well?

      • I bet it doesnt, especially on #3, everyone is complaining about it on the reddit thread

      • Nope, gotta buy them all.

        • +1

All I want is a Complete edition with all DLC's so I can replay them all to their full potential, but they'll never release it :(

        • @ohhidayo:

Agree and thats why I am holding off buying it since I am not in a hurry and have heaps of other games to play.

        • @lancedefrance:

I don't think there will ever be a complete with DLC edition. EA likes milking you dry. I couldn't wait for ME3 anymore and just bought it from previous sale last year and enjoyed it anyway.

        • @ohhidayo: Use google search ;-) Sometimes , when you try to buy something and you can't, someone might be sharing.

  • Noteworthy mentions are

    ME series
    Dead space series
    NFS series

    Crysis seems cheap too

The others doesn't seem to great…

    • I think I'll be picking up DA2. Been waiting for it to drop to around $5. Just playing it for the sake of story in preparation for DA Origins

      • Err… Origins is for DA 1 perhaps you mean Inquisition right? Because I was going to do it too… except I bought it at JB when they had a sale on before for $10… my $5 T_T

        • LOL why did I write origins instead of inquisition. Wth….. let me edit that :P (Oh I can't edit it anymore)

Yeah I'm very excited for DA:I. Tactical mode is back in full glory, character customization and combat looks fluid.

        • @Letrico:

LOL haven't played DA2 yet… still trying to finish DA1 story for the tenth time (the other nineth times was on my old PS3 HDD or my old PC HDD so i can't transfer save…). Bloody Orsimmar is too big.

Only thing i like about DA2 is that the mages in combat looks pimped out.

        • @ProjectZero:

Heh DA1 took me so many hours to complete. DA2 is a little disappointing in terms of battle compare to DA1. Not to mention repetitive dungeon.

  • Bulletstorm for 6 bucks is okay for a comedy shooter with everyone's favorite gravel-eater Steve Blum.

Erm. Command and Conquers for 4.50 is okay too.

SimCity4's cheaper on steam in the sales though.

Erm. Command and Conquers for 4.50 is okay too.

May as well just get The Ultimate Collection for $9.99 instead of paying $4.50 for one game.

      • Ah, but if you only want 2 of them, you essentially save a whole buck!

  • I can see Zuma and Bookworm becoming future on the house free games.

    no steam, no buy.

    • not your cup of tea, not a place for you to comment :)

    • I have a soft spot in my heart for the steam nut huggers…poor little guys :(

    • no GOG no buy then? :P

steam staff can be a massive tool (as well as amazon and origin). There were accounts of perm bans without giving the owner any reason or course for appeal. (google it)

given a choice, i will pick a non-drm option first, then followed by a cheap drm option OR some convoluted way of game-trading/pricematch/negotiate deals with stores like JBHF

though i must say, Origin is a company I admire in the 90s as they make really cool games that I enjoyed immensely…. I can't bring myself to say the same after its being bought over by EA.

      • ORIGIN WAS A COMPANY!?

I thought it was just a hipster name that EA were using to pretend like they were the first online game service!?

I am behind the times :(

        • nah, there were really big names in the 90s that made very popular titles. (at least among my peers and according to the game shops i was writing faq/walkthroughs for).
actually I should say it's "Origin Systems", they are the ones who made ultima… there were really other good companies that got bought out and never made the good stuff again… like
          Strategic Simulations, Inc (SSI), micropose

      • Your Origin comment just lost any respect you may have legally acquired

        • @Neo: lol. if you lived as long and played as many games in the last 3.5 decades as i do, you will realise how many firetrucks i give to that comment. ;)

  • Cheaper to buy ME and Crysis games separately than in their trilogies. Also what is with no Dragon Age Ultimate Edition?

    • +1

Cheaper to buy ME and Crysis games separately

With ME, for the extra 2 cents, you also get the two Mass Effect DLC's (Pinnacle Station and Bring Down the Sky) in the trilogy

      • They are free DLC anyway, save those 2 cents!

    More like buy your collection.
