Decent deal however please be aware Weight is (approx.) 3.63kg

  • Yeah it is quite heavy, was thinking about getting it but held off when i noticed the weight.

  • How much is the normal retail price?

    • +1

      $200 Retail price or thereabouts

Got one on sale a few weeks ago on sale, price was $120. didnt buy the same brand but they were all around the same price.

So this Groupon deal is very good.

  • I assume this is the same one I bought with 2 bottles of vodka & paid $30? It's still in the box over 2 years later. It's not like having too many Eneloops which hide easily in a drawer. Too heavy for my use - I travel overseas with only carry-on.

On discount airlines with 7kg carry-on limit, half goes on this luggage. I still use a 1kg backpack dating back to my first RyanAir 10kg carry-on flights in 2006. Not as nice looking, but I've travelled for 6 weeks or more in warm Asian climates (light clothes) with carry-on weighing in at 7kg.

      Not the same one.

I got the same one from the same deal. I have used it a few times. At least my 2 yr old likes it…

Ah yes, ours were a nice shiny hardshell design, much more expensive. Thanks.

It still is a bit heavy for carry on. Might be ok for a dirty weekend.

And your case is older than your child :-)

  • Thanks everyone above for the comments re weight. Was contemplating but think I will stick with the herschel given then current potential crackdown on weight restrictions.

  • Jetstar is clamping down on carry on bags. This wont leave u much space for anything.

  • I have never in my life had my carry on luggage weighed or questioned. Am I in the minority?

    • You are although they are a little subjective rather than grab every single passenger.
