    alternatively you can buy a usb xbox 360 controller…I got one for $35. much better for a lot of 3rd person games as well

      Works well on PC

      Have wireless 360 controllers which work well with the game.

  You can use Xbox 360 arcade sticks for your PC as they have a USB connector, but then that adds another $250 to the price.

  well that's a kicker isn't it.
  I have played street fighter games on a PC before. It's kinda ok, except Zangief.
  Man, it's hard to do his special moves and impossible to do his supers.

  SF4 'gief is the easiest he's ever been in terms of input difficulty…It's not even a full 360 anymore (270 now i believe) and you can shortcut the shoryuken motion for his green hand too. But yeah you're probably going to want to get a controller for any kind of serious play…though you can probably play charge characters pretty well on a keyboard…maybe take up bison? =D
  http://slagcoin.com/joystick.html has some fundamental information about building your own arcade-style joystick controls if anyone is interested…I did it myself recently (though for xbox 360 which is significantly harder than PC in terms of wiring) and it was quite a lot of fun!
