I wonder why they don't just offer permanent free shipping? It may as well be seeing as they do it so often

can take 2-3 weeks for the free shipping to arrive. shop around, try frugalroleur for a comparison or direct to the other cheap sites like ribble, merlin, wiggle, evans and the german sites like bike24 and bike-discount. Most of those sites give free shipping if you are spending around $100, German sites charge a flat 20 euro for DHL tracked shipping, not good if you are buying a water bottle, good if you are buying suspension forks (since their prices are more than 20 euro cheaper than anywhere else before you add shipping).
Little tip: add a cheap wire bead tyre to your order and your free shipping will default to Parcelforce or DHL express. Works every time… Last order I put this in my cart and I actually needed it today. It's a nice rolling tyre too for the price.
Hey, interesting - how does that work?
Wirebead tyres are usually sent as-is (the size of your wheel) and not folded like other types of tyres. So their system must automatically flag orders with wirebead type tyres because their regular royal snail mail don't ship boxes that big?
I've ordered o-rings before plus a wirebead tyre. It came in a massive box with the small o-rings at the bottom (which is what I really wanted).
Can confirm that I just received two wire bead tyres via parcel force yesterday with free shipping on an order >$99, which took 3 business days to deliver (+ weekend). Previous order with no tyres and free shipping took 11 business days (+ 2 weekends). Didn't realise they did this for all wire bead tyre orders.. thanks for the tip :)
