The slide is only 1.2m. My almost 2 year old daughter would eat that for breakfast. She takes on the big slippery slide at our local big kids park.

  • For those that can pick-up from Ingleburn NSW it is $179

For those unaware, local councils provide parks with far superior facilities to the ones shown here for free! Children may have to be removed from a safe domestic environment and encounter other children though…..

For those unaware, some people with kids are really busy and can't always take them to the park, but are able to get things done while the kids play in the backyard. Doing one doesn't mean you can't do the other.

Oh, right. Though given your last comment was about buying and playing video games…………………………

        • Oh, so you're suggesting I should take the kids to the park at 10PM at night? Or perhaps I should find a way to take them to the park when I'm on the train to/from work?

@CarbonTwelve: Nope. Taking the kids to the park at 10pm was never suggested. Neither was while you are on a train. Though in both instances i am unsre how a plastic park set might come in use. You sound like a consumer of child care. Pay your money, forget about them, clock off and play video games.

@melgibson: And you sound extremely condescending and judgemental of things you know nothing about.

I mentioned 10pm and the train because of your comment about me buying computer games, suggesting that I should be doing something else instead of playing games (presumably taking our kids to the park, as per your first comment).

As for childcare, no we don't use childcare, but again I don't see the relevance or the need for further condescension. Most people who use childcare do so because they can't afford to not work. Why you would mention being a consumer of childcare as a pejorative I have no idea.

For what it's worth, I get up at 5 in the morning to feed our youngest daughter before leaving at 6:30 in order to start early enough to leave early and get home by 5:30 to look after the children while my wife has a break and can go for a walk. The idea of play equipment like this is primarily for my wife's benefit, but also mine so that our eldest can play outside while our youngest is sleeping, or feeding, or while I'm cooking on the barbecue.

Ultimately I think this set is a bit small for our eldest, but I still find your comments ridiculous and offensive for those who it would be appropriate for.
