How do people get the actual vouchers?

I'm rural, and get no advertising in my PO box (we don't have roadside mail delivery), and my local KFC won't accept printed copies.

    • and my local KFC won't accept printed copies.

      neither does mine…

I must be the lucky one.

Mine accepts a photo of the voucher on my phone.

      • Ferntree Gully, Vic doesn't accept printed vouchers.

The only time I tried, I was told "this doesn't look legitimate" by the person serving me, to which I replied "What do you mean by legitimate?", and then after discussion between sales and management, I was told "we don't accept printed vouchers" by the manager, "Ok" I said.

I think that consistency wouldn't hurt. Either all franchises accept all forms of vouchers, or not. It would save everyone a lot of time (both ours, and KFC staffers explaining their store policy to customers wielding printed vounchers) if vouchers handling policy was directed by KFC central management rather than individual franchisers.

        • I've been really lucky then because I've been able to get away with ordering these deals even after the expiry date. I've only had one girl ask me at drive thru if I have a voucher and I said yes but it was on my phone and she reluctantly accepted my excuse and said she wanted to see my phone at the window.
I usually just confidently order the name of the deal - we always get the "Chicken and Wicked Wings Pack" and the KFC staff always know which one you're talking about.
Maybe just say the name of the meal deal you want…

Just mention the name of the deal. If they don't acknowledge it call their customer relations team at Yum! Brands and call them out on it. The behavior should stop.

    • Try http://www.shopadocket.com.au/ and enter whatever postcode and search KFC, they don't usually look too closely at the accepted stores and will honour it if you put it on your phone but YMMV depending on how tight your local KFC is.

  • I'm craving KFC now…

anyone want to do an analysis on which is the better deal

i reckon cheap as chips, with the survey bonus

The cheap as chips deal is similar value to the streetwise feast. Which one seems to be better value?

Cheap as Chips is better. À la carte, the three crispy strips ($6.95) in the Streetwise Feast are worth more than the two extra pieces of original recipe chicken ($6) in the Cheap as Chips meal. But you also get two large potates and gravy ($4.95x2) with the Cheap as Chips voucher.

I redeemed Double Combo using printed voucher yesterday without any issues.

correct me if im wrong but I really dont see the point of these vouchers because they dont give you much of a better deal than what is on the menu already! Like you can get 10 piece for 10 dollars on tuesday, beats any coupon (assuming its tues) but even if its not tuesday, deals like streetwise are pretty much same as the vouchers. so I really dont understand this.
