I am just wondering why the neg ? How many do you need ? We have plenty of stock in our warehouse.

yeah not sure where he got hes figure from, seems like a great bargain to me!

      • +2

From the ozbargain guidelines 10 is needed at least( if I remember correctly) but Iam not sure why expon think you only have 1 as you didn't mention the amount in the title ?

My apologies I read it as you were clearing the demo unit, how many demos can you have?

        • +1

I'm sure the Rep will let you buy as many as you want

Could you please clarify on your approximate stock level for this TV?

    • +2

Agreed. A link to the actual product page, not just a picture, would help too…

Is it a Demo or Factory Second?
Descriptions seems to indicate a factory second

  • +3

I think I would rather pay a little over $200 more and get a brand new one with the full 3 year warranty. Also the new units have 2 pairs of 3D glasses included, there is no mention of these for these 'demo' units.

  • Careful with the old HDMI 1.4 if you're planning on using this for 4K with your PC/Mac.

    • Why is that? 4k on the HDMI standards website appears to be okay with 1.4

      http://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/hdmi_1_4/4k.aspx

      Edit : maybe refresh rates?

      • Without going into technical jargon, you'll experience delayed laggy performance. A bit like when you Airplay to an ATV from your Mac.

      • The res works great at 4K though if you're looking at static images :)

  • This TV is coming up on eBay for $20 more. So there might be a large amount of stock to clear. All of them factory seconds? The return rate is that high??

Also, this TV is listed in the VEET energy rebate as eligible from a previous post. Does anyone know how much this rebate is and how you go about claiming it? Very little information exists on this.

  • Just some feedback to the forum. I bought one yesterday. It works.

    • I should hope so, otherwise you would have wasted your money.

      • Indeed. I am attempting to claim the Gold Class tickets too.
