Cheapest Prepaid Mobile Deal Yet? - JUST Mobile/Vodafone Network

23

JUST Mobile has just lowered its rates but kept the best conditions. No flag fall, 30c/minute (charged per second), 15c per SMS and credit has 180 day expiry. The minimum recharge is now $15. They use Vodafone's network. Oh and they have 20% off specials occasionally.

I'd recommend them, in fact our whole family is with JUST.

Mod - Added merchant and network details to the title.
PS I corrected my poor maths (cents/second)

    10c/min (charged per 30 seconds)

    45day expiry
    25c flagfall

Yes, that's pretty good, but JUST is ahead with long expiry (180 days versus 45 days), lower minimum recharge ($15 versus $25) and ZERO flag fall. Short calls are very good value.

      • I guess if you don't call much, and calls are less than 30 seconds it would be better.

Not as cheap as savvytel; plus the credits never expire.

  • I have a spreadsheet that quickly calculates plan cost based on my usage. For me, Virgin Bean and TPG's 12.99 prepaid cap are cheaper than both JUST and Savvytel.

Making generalisations about phone plan value is a tricky business.

    • Care to share the blank spreadsheet? I'm sure a lot of people would find something like that handy :)

    15c per 30 seconds,, no 1c/second

    Lebara ftw

  • No deal - Still cheaper elsewhere (eg. Savvytel)

  • Since it uses vodafone's network, can my mates on vodafone call me for free using their voda2voda minutes?

  • Misleading title shouldnt it be cheap as oppose to cheapest

  • question mark justifies it as a question i guess not a statement.

  • If you're a light user and have an existing mobile number, Slimtel is very cheap.
