Up to 20,000 Aquire Pts (QFF Pts) for New Member, $50 Joining Fee - 10,000 Pts for Existing Mem

I'm surprised this deal hasn't been posted here yet. Basically if you have an ABN, you can sign up for an Aquire membership now, with $50 joining fee and first year membership fee waived (normally $179), and earn up to 20,000 Aquire pts, which then can be converted 1:1 to QFF pts. You'll get 10,000 for sign up and another 10,000 for making a purchase with one of the program partner.

Normally there'll be massive amount of hoops to jump through to convert your Aquire pts into QFF pts if you earn the points through flights booked using your registered ABN. But I believe for this promo, both the 10,000 sign up bonus pts and the 10,000 partner purchase pts are immediately available for transfer to any QFF account.

For existing Aquire members, you can still get the 10,000 pts by making a purchase with a new Aquire program partner. I guess that means one partner that you haven't earned Aquire point from. I bought a clip for 23 cents from Staples with free delivery code "AFREEDEV"

More details are explained here:
http://www.pointhacks.com.au/qantas-aquire-20k-bonus-promoti…

TL;DR: if you have an ABN then
* if you are not an Aquire member then register to earn up to 20,000 equivalent QFF pnts, $50 joining fee, $179 annual membership fee, 1st year waived.
* if you are an existing member then make a purchase with a new Aquire program partner to earn 10,000 pnts

Don't forget to convert your Aquire points to QFF points at the end

Edit 1: There's also a discount code with Staple "TEN65OFF" which takes $10 off if your order is $65 or more, not sure if it stacks or why anyone would, but I don't judge.

Edit 2: don't forget to cancel your aquire membership before the renewal date, unless you want to keep it, and pay the membership fee.

  • I have received an email to say that the 10,000 points will not be awarded if minimum of $1 was not spent:

"Aquire, they will not be crediting the 10,000 bonus points to any Staples.com.au customer who placed an order for less than $1 during the promotional period. Our terms and conditions state that points are awarded on every $1 spent, and these customer have not met our T&C’s of spend a $1

Still waiting on the second 10k of points. Sent a message through the internal contact us system and just got a call from Aquire. Apparently there is some problem with their system, but they are working on a solution and the points should be credited by the end of this week.

  • MARGE, the rains are here the rains are here!!! My 10k Bonus points have posted today!!!! $3 pack of atomic tomato samboy chips with free delivery, has netted me 10006 points in total!! Praise the lord, hallelujah

    • Got mine today too :)

  • Mine are in there also, but is anyone else having trouble converting their second 10,000 to QFF ?

    • I can't figure out to convert any points. First 10k or second 10k…..
Maybe I'm just tired and it's time to go to bed.

      • The button is there for me today. Very strange! When you first login, on the right hand side there should be a big red "Convert Points" button. If it's not there, go to "Personal Profile" and make sure you have a QFF number entered and saved.

        • Yup, it's back for me this morning too. Weird.

  • If I sign my daughter up for a new FF account via the family/friends signup - Complimentary Qantas Frequent Flyer membership and then transfer 10k points to her from aquire, do you think that will make her eligible for the "special welcome gift" 10k new account bonus?
It explicitly says 'earns' and 'family transfer' is definitely not valid. Are aquire transfers considered 'earn' or something other?

    • Interesting. It's not really a Frequent Flyer family transfer, is it? Worth a shot I say. You can always take them back!

  • Second set of 10k arrived today, so 20k has now arrived as promised.

  • I got all my Aquire points now as well!

  • When I try to log in, I am always receiving 404 Page Not Found error.

When I tried to used contact form, it is coming with the same error.

I have already tried my mobile and laptop however both are giving same error.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue and how to contact them via phone or email?
