Real or Scam - The Iconic $50 off $129 spend

Received an email purporting to be from Commonwealth Bank with an offer for $50 off on spending $129 at The Iconic.

Can't tell if this is real or a scam - the links (unclicked) have destination "http://emailing.cba.com.au/ch/..." ending with a whole string of numbers.

Leaning towards "scam" because all the links go to the same place, although the text suggests they go to a variety of different places.

Anyone else seen this one?

  • well cba.com.au links straight to https://www.commbank.com.au/, which is the legitimate CBA website.
I'm fairly sure it's legit and if I was a scammer ICONIC, wouldn't be my first choice to use as bait.
But make sure the text and hyper-link is actually the same.

  • It's legit, I got one for $30 off $89 spend. Coupon code works.

    • I wonder why your spend amount was less

  • +1

The iconic is so overpriced, there are codes everywhere for discount.

The iconic is so overpriced I still haven't spent my free $250…

  • What's the code? Nmat?

  • When I get an email from the bank it duplicates in bank messages on their site. Looks like adverts like this one do not.
