One key function of higher-grade cycling computers is measurement of cadence,

Useful for beginners, but after a while you just know when your cadence is right.
    Seems expensive.

    • OK, not expensive now that it is wireless.

  • I own the wireless version. Works good but utterly fails when I use the bike light (too much interference). Wouldn't go there again (now using an ANT+ setup including so I can also get heart rate).
