  Useful for beginners, but after a while you just know when your cadence is right.

    OK, not expensive now that it is wireless.

  I own the wireless version. Works good but utterly fails when I use the bike light (too much interference). Wouldn't go there again (now using an ANT+ setup including so I can also get heart rate).
