2.4m high adjustable 12v Pole Light

The 12v Pole Lamp is an all purpose elevated light source with adjustable height.

Makes night time activities safer with it's powerfully 360 degree bright light spread up to 10 meters diameter.

A common problem with torches and other portable light sources used outdoors when camping or fishing, there is often nowhere from which to hang a light.

The Pole Lamp solves this problem by raising the light source up to 2.4 meteres high.

The light stick can be removed for compact storage or to be used indoors under awnings, inside tents and caravans.

Would be REALLY useful to have pictures / video of it in action to see how effective it is..

i have some LED light strips similar and theres no way you would get usable light from them. even looking at how dimly they glow in the vid it looks like it may well not light anything up more than a dim glow

no lumen count, no description of what led's its using…. looks like a gimmick to me unless rep wants to upload some night time vids/pics id suggest keep away.

        found a pic

as i suspected the led's only really throw light out horizontally and even then there is not much of it. also looks only out in 2 directions, you will get some illumination if you are right in the throw of the led's but barely anything on the ground etc.

        theres also this vid

if you look at the walls you can see the room is already illuminated before turning on the lamp, there is really no clear indication of the lamp really doing much of the lighting in the room.

like i said above…. this just seems really gimmicky, i cant see anywhere near $80 value or even $40 value.

Note it doesn't come with a battery, nor does it say how many amps the battery needs to be - only says a 12v battery. The battery could cost another $30 and the charger for it would be another $50.

Is the light externally rated and waterproof? It would need to be to be able to use it for the outdoor activities you describe. The connection to the battery certainly isn't waterproof.

    • thanks, 1\ the battery just need 12V be ok, amps no limit, big amps more time to use.

  • Agree, I camp A LOT and use LED lights everywhere. Not knowing which types of LED's you are using, or a Lumen output measurement is very misleading. Most campers need to know how much amp draw so they can calculate battery drain/use. Surely as an Australian sold product it must have these power specifications printed on the product? LED lights are great, but using the right ones for the specific purpose makes a huge difference. And as I mentioned, you need to pair it to the right battery as no battery is included. You will more than likely severely damage your power drill battery if you use it with this because you will over draw power from it as I doubt there are any low voltage cut out protections in this product. That could cause a fire. Consider carefully before you buy this product.

Has anyone seen the tent pole that you can actually still use as tent pole, but has LED lights built into the pole and a battery and all circuitry in the base of the pole?

    • Regarding a Lumen count, it would be nice to have but like any light, its pretty well meaningless. A good Youtube video would be better but then even that might under or over show its abilities.

  • epstar 2835chip *90pcs/600LM//450mA and tested all 12V battery can using . take off the stick lights with battery or car charger can using in tent. thanks.
