Add freight … plus this is SE.

  • Last week they sell 250GB $125, how come price up?

    • Changing supplier prices probably considering our dollar is constantly dropping vs USD.

Agreeing with Jzdhgkd. Actually last time I looked it was $132. But yeah, no shipping means you save a bit.

  • Could you please mention they are 840 models in the title?

  • Dupe - same as yesterday's post. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/167721

one is micro sd cards and one is ssd.

      • I know what you are saying, but I feel it is a technicality.

        Same same.

It is like an Adi special and everyone posts each individual special, from a one page scan, and links it as a unique sale.

Wouldn't it be better to state in the post what all the sales are rather than list them in separate bargains.

No offense to the OP!! You were highlighting a bargain. Just my 2 cents.

(edit) Maybe yesterday's post should have included the SSD's as well??

        • Boooooo me…. :(

Is it worth getting a 840evo now? Is there expectation for a new model soon? Would love to double my SSD storage with a new 250gb. Has the new firmware resolved all problems? Thanks!

If you are after better performance, the 840 pro and 850 pro are already available, but cost more.

There's also rumors of an upcoming 850 Evo model:
      http://www.tomshardware.com/news/samsung-850-evo-ssd-ifa,276…

But when that is released, it will still be more expensive that the 840 EVOs. I don't think most people will be able to feel a difference though, apart from better benchmark figures.

The firmware fix for the 840 evo was released quite recently. But supposedly the issue takes a while to manifest itself. You'd probably have to wait a bit longer to see some user reviews of the firmware fix to know for sure.

  • Great customer service and a good deal!
