it's safe don't worry, the store rep posts deals on here as well

    • +5

Just bought the same product off their eBay store, got it in one day. I've never had such quick delivery.

    • +6

Many times and they're very reliable.

    • +1

Purchased multiple things including SSD's and other PC gear. All good.

Except I never received one delivery, it was some random deal had 4 or 8gb micro SD for like $5 or something delivered…

Never got it, also CBF trying to follow it up so I guess I would say we are even.

    • +3

Probably one of the best & quickest sellers !

But note that despite the high read speeds of these cards their write speeds are <20MB/s…, making the EVO range better @ <27MB/s.

    • +3

Excellent seller, not to worry, quality products and quick delivery, very good prices too.

    • +1

Ordered one a few weeks ago and arrived within the week . I'd buy from them again .

      • +1

    Technoob question here:

How do these rate against Sandisk Class 10 micro SD cards? (which I use in my DSLR)

These are half the price so it's hard to resist…

    • +2

it depends on the read and write speed of the micro sd. if you use a lot of like burst mode shooting or HD video recording, a higher read and write speed is better but if it's just normal shooting these are pretty much the same as the sandisks IMO.

      • +3

Unless you're using a very high-bitrate camera, HD video recording doesn't really use much bandwidth. 50Mbps video is 6.25MB/s. Chuck in an extra 50% for overheads, and that's still under 10MB/s.

Burst shooting will only be affected if you shoot more frames than the camera's buffer. That is when you'll really wish you had a faster card!

        • don't use these statistics to make the judgement, because it also depends on how your device buffer and process the file as well. From my experience, I use the Sandisk ultra on my canon 60d to record hd video and it frequently stop recording due to buffer overload and could not get any hd clip longer than 5 minutes. I swapped to the Extreme one and have never encountered this problem since.

        • @lgacb08: What is your Sandisk Ultra's benchmarked write speed?

  • Hi guys,

Which one is better? for phone

    • +2

depends on the size you need

    • I would just go for the bigger 32GB card personally given the price difference. Not sure if read/write speeds mean too much for use on phone, unless you're transferring to your PC a lot.

  • +4

    I need a good deal on a 64GB. Where's the SE rep when you need him/her? :(

    • i'm also looking for a 64gb to use with z1 compact. may buy two if the price is right.

    • +2

Did someone just call me? :P

The 64GB Pro is the only 64GB we are offering atm.

      cheers

      • Your ears must have been burning haha, give us a buzz when you got some regular 64GB microsd on special and I'll jump on board :)

Also, I've been waiting to jump on a 128GB, whats the price on them like? have they started to drop yet or still pretty high cost per gigabyte? Hopefully you'll bring out a ripper deal on the 128GB soon and make us all very happy ozbargainers :)

        • Haha… will keep them in mind.

The 128GB haven't drop yet. But price start moving, you know we'll be there :).

          Cheers

      • Thanks for the link but I don't buy from Shopping Square any more out of principal, due to their shonky business practices which I was stung by a year ago, and their poor customer support (or lack thereof). I'll wait for a deal from Shopping Express or pcbyte :)

  • Just got the 16gb one.
    Thanks!

Add to cart, go to paypal, then go to website which then asks for your username password. WTH! Why can't we checkout as guests? Defeats the purpose of the paypal and is annoying when you forget your password then you have to ask for a new password then change the computer generated password. Then you're not sure if the paypal payment came through so you check your email to see if there's a paypal notification. Then click the cart then proceed checkout. Then you have to input your address again! Paypal has the shipping address!!! Geesh!

    Good deal tho!

I have older Samsung class 10's and they seem fickle and a bit easy to corrupt. Are these newer class 10's better in that regard?

    • +2

None of my handful of Samsung cards have gotten corrupted. On the other hand, a good number of 32 and 64GB Sandisk micro sd cards have died.

    • Easy to corrupt depends on how good your devices chipset is at dealing with high size high speed cards. I know my dash cam manual says to avoid class 10 cards as they are "too fast" to work properly. FAT32 was not really designed for this kind of size drive so it's bound to get corrupt at times.

  • +1

will these suit note 4? i am looking at the 32gb one. thanks

    • +4

not sure why some one negged u.
Anyway, the answer to your question is yes.
Any class of microsd will work on your note4.
However higher class will perform faster.(so even a class4 will works)
Note 4 card slot can support up to 128gb of memory.(specs from gsmarena: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_4-6434.php)

      • so i can buy either of these? 1) Samsung 32GB microSD Card Pro Series UHS-1 Class 10 Read 70MB/s Write and 2)Samsung 32GB microSD Card Plus
Series UHS-1 Class 10 . Which one is better one? Thanks again

        • +5

          Yes.
Pro Series will act faster than the plus.
But it all depends on what you really needs.
Plus Series: Read upto 48mb/s, Write upto 20mb/s
Pro Series: Read upto 70mb/s, Write upto 20mb/s

It will read faster on the pro, eg. like opening and loading a pdf file that is inside your micro sd card.
Or searching the music that is also inside your micro sd card.

    • +2

Upvoted to cancel the neg >_< seriously why neg a valid comment.
Anyway mate im picking up the note 4 as well, I had the G3 and they worked just fine, they all support the same type of storage so it will be ok mate.

      • +2

        thanks adamchan and maverickjohn :)

  • Hi OP, Would you go the Plus Series or Pro Series in the 32GB?

    • +2

depends on what you use it for, but the plus is enough for everyday stuff. the pro has just a faster read and write speed. if you record lots of HD videos or use burst mode for photography, it doesn't take as long to load and store the files

  • +1

What is the difference between the 16gb Evo and the 16gb Pro-Series?

    • +1

      48mb vs 70mb write

      • +1

Read isn't it!? 20 mb write!

        • +1

Yeah just found the specifications for it. It's 48mb/s vs 70mb/s read. Thanks you.

  • +1

Darn nothing has come close to the centrecom deal of the 32gb EVO card yet.. that deal was insane. hopefully the higher storage memory cards will start to see lower price tags..

    • what was that deal if you don't mind me asking?

    • +1

      32GB EVO DEALS:
You mean this one for $10 shipped?
      Or this one for $8?

      These were close, without shipping:
How about this one for $9?
      Or this one for $10?
It was $7.95 here and I think it WAS shipped.

Let me know when they are around this price again so I can get really excited.

      • The $8 deal. Thats what I bought it for

      • holy shit! dem deals. thanks for the info though!

  • +1

You can only order maximum of 1 Samsung 32GB microSD Card Plus Series UHS-1 Class 10 MB-MPBGC/CN (MB-MPBGCCN).

    • i just bought a 32gb plus $18.50. i'm now trying to buy a 32gb pro but it's showing + s&h.

  • Bought one, thx op.

  • +1

Thanks Op, bought a 32GB for my daughters Go PRo.

    • Does anyone have any experience using any of those cards with a go pro?

  • -6

Misleading. Read is 70mb/sec but write is only 20mb/sec

    • It says it in bold at the top of the product page for the 16gb

    • I wouldn't call it misleading as it is what it is and you buy it if you like it, simple !
Unless you are a competitor… lol

  • ^must've been a mistake on that icon, once you click the product page it has the correct specs

edit: this was meant to be a reply to the above psot

  • Would it be suitable for this dash cam https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/162607? It apparently "needs" a genuine Kingston Class 10. I don't see why brand would matter expect if its some reject shop brand.

    • +3

Don't worry. It should be fine.

  • +1

How does the plus compare to the evo?

    • +2

^ would like to know as well, as I am purchasing it for the note 4

  • Thanks

  • bought, thanks! birthday present for myself!

    • A microsd card for your own birthday present? Isn't that a bit boring? :)

      • +3

The way he uses it or the contents he is recording into it might be more exciting than you can ever imagine.

        • +1

How many ways are there to use it? You just insert it into ….

          oh.

  • -2

U CAN GET IT FOR $12.45 USING CODE "15OFF"

    • +2

  • +1

Do these work with the G1W-C dash cams? I have heard that they have trouble accepting class 10 cards.

  • Thanks perfect timing

  • How do they get these read write speeds?

I bought a card thats supposed to be 90mb/s and I downloaded a program called "CrystalDiskMark" and the speeds were terrible (23mb/s read and 20mb/s write)

But the card was a lot faster than a Sandisk class 4 I also have.

    • +2

Are you using a USB2 or USB3 card reader?

      • Exactly… the hardware interface can be a bottleneck for data transfer rate. Check your hardware specs and rated performance.

    • Na in a Toshiba Encore tablet.

      • Oh it's just using a slow micro SD interface then. Faster cards won't make a difference in that situation.

The same thing happens with the Galaxy S5. My memory card maxes out at about 10.3MB/s in the phone over USB3, while a USB3 card reader gives me just under 37MB/s.

  • Nice find!

Deal on a 64gb Micro SD please OP ?? :))

  • OP : any deal on SD card class 10 ?

    • +2

      Hi gandhi28152,

    Hi Rep,
For the 32gb Pro with adaptor, what adaptor is it? Is it a red Sandisk one?

When using 15OFF (which applies to users who did their survey), the free shipping code gets removed :(. This ends up with only $7 saving.

    • Hi willxiao0790,

Any adapter is original adapater in the retail packaging, in this case it is a samsung adapter. We only sell Genuine Samsung flash memories in retail packaging. Hope this put you at ease ordering flash memories from ShoppingExpress.

  • Are these any good for the new gopros?

  • I'm seeing Samsung 32gb on ebay for $20 with free shipping. Seems better than this. What am I missing?

    • Quality, depends where you get them from, some are fakes my friend got one from HK back in the days when 2 GB was large and cost a lot.

I personally bought 2 CF cards for my Cannon 30D once, from a Au company got home compared them with my previous purchase from same place, with a very keen eyes there was a minor difference, so contacted San-disk, short story they where fakes, the seller did not believe me till pointed out to him. He was duped too and so was the rest of his stock fake. refunded the money no questions asked. moral of the story only buy from where you can address any issues if they arise

I am confused, what's the difference between the following:

    1) Samsung EVO Micro SDXC 64GB UHS-I Memory Card MB-MP64DAAPC
    2) Samsung 64GB microSD Card Pro Series UHS-1 Class 10 Read 70MB/s Write 20MB/s MB-MGCGB/CN

no.2 seems to be better on paper but why is the EVO more expensive?

Also, is there two Pro models? Theres also this:

    3) Samsung PRO 64GB MicroSD Class 10 UHS-I Memory Card MB-MG64DAAPC

    Is this the best?

    Any help is appreciated :)

PS. looking to purchase one of the above for my Note 4

  • Sorry. We don't have enough 'MB-MGBGBACN' in stock to fulfill your order. Please change the qty on order in your shopping cart to a lower number and click update. Then try to checkout again.

No more 32gb with adaptor left?
