  • Jax also has the Continental promo on November if you want a Euro brand.

Pirelli has some good deals but not a 4th tyre free.

    • The brand may be Euro, but that doesn't mean their tyres are! (Quite a few patterns are now made in China!)

No good for me; my car only has three wheels.

    • Free spare then.

It is then a tuktuk not a car.

      • So what would you call things like a BMW Isetta, Reliant Robin or a Messerschmitt KR200?

        • So what would you call things like a BMW Isetta, Reliant Robin or a Messerschmitt KR200?

Gee, forgot about the highest selling category of vehicles. My bad.

  • I got this deal last time. We got the Ecopia EP100. Compared to the OEM tyre, our consumption has decreased from 13.5 to 12.8 L/100km, so close to 5%. I am a sedate driver so haven't noticed any significant difference in handling or braking distance.

Dodgy, there is no price, only fill up forms for quote, then it says need to talk to a local dealer, which calls later to rip me off as wide as all 4 tyres
    No thanks

    • Just to help validate your neg, what were the details of your quote, size? pattern? And have you been quoted by another store on the same tyre to compare it against?

    • Though you have a point about tyre retailers not offering online instant quotes, I don't think it warrants a negative vote. These tyre offers come annually or bi-annually. Almost all of them don't offer online quotes regardless of any offers, reason being, it's a buyers market. You can shop around and find out prices easily then ask for a price match from your local tyre retailer.

  • anyone has the approximate bargain price of these tyres? looking to fit on small passenger car (honda Jazz)
Also which tyre retailer (Sydney, NSW) has the "wallet-friendly" price thx

    • Best to do is ring them and ask for a written quote or Visit http://www.jaxquickfit.com.au, they offer a price on Ecopia tyres for some vehicles online. If a Jax not around your place, you can ask for a price match from your local Kmart Tyre and Auto Services or Bob Jane.

  • Hope someone can answer this:
I need 4 new tyres 195/65R15. Looking at Bridgestone Ecopia, now on the Bridgestone official site they have this size in Ecopia EP100 only but Tempe Tyres have this size in EP150. I'm assuming EP150 is the successor of Ep100. My questions are why doesn't it show EP150 available in my size on the Bridgestone official site? Are they direct imports and how bad can they be?

    • If you read the offer terms and conditions, you can find that Ecopia 150 is included in that offer, which means Bridgestone do import them. Ring them up including your local tyre retailers to get a quote. It'll be worth the effort since we're talking about 100 odd dollars worth of savings.
