Your an Australian site but using pounds? It's not 1969 anymore

    • +4

It is american Brand and it will be confusing customers who are familiar with these products if you transfer it to Kg

    • Jesus measured in pounds, and so does America. U got a problem with that?

  • where is the nutritional information on the website? i cant even see whether its WPI or WPC

  • Does this stuff even work? :\

  • +1

    Placed an order, thanks OP

  • Is this stuff legal?

    • Yes it is legal

  • Can you explain why the last time I bought from you (Syntha-6 Isolate), the packaging appeared resealed and there was protein powder all over the outside of the tub? There were also white specks in the tub of whey, which doesn't inspire much confidence in the product you sold to me.

I don't mean to attack you, but I would appreciate knowing how this could have happened.

    • You live in the same building as any Essondon players?

    • Sorry to hear that. But I have to assure you that we are one of the major retails for Emi Nutrition (The Australian Distributor of BSN & Optimum )

We get the product directly from them sealed (We don't make them in our warehouse for sure) however sometimes the package might be damaged during transit if the courier didn't handle the parcel with care.

And in such cases we always offer swap for the damaged tub.

Please provide us with your order number and we will be happy to assist you

      • Thanks for the reply and the offer. The tub is long gone and seemed fine to me, I was just curious.

On the different note, do you ever plan on selling NOW Foods Whey Protein Isolate or Integrated Supplements Whey Isolate Protein? I ask because I'm looking for a protein free from sucralose and acesulfame potassium. Any suggestions?

Fwiw you could get 4 kg of WPC from Bulk Nutrients for $7 more. It also would have higher protein % and less carbs. Recon is basically just sugar powder.

    • -1

1- You can't compare WPC to a blend of WPI & WPC (It is well known that WPI is higher quality and dearer as well)
2- You can't compare Combat with the huge number of positive reviews worldwide to a generic protein
3- Re-con Contains Bcaa's EAA's, Glutamine, Beta Alanine and others which essential for recovery and rebuilding the muscles. Saying it is just sugar is unfair for the product.
4- check independent customers reviews on recon from over 400 customers http://au.bodybuilding.com/store/musclepharm/recon.html?&_re…

It's only 71% protein. You can get 1300 net grams protein for $89 or 3200 via bulk nutrients WPC for $96. I know what I'd prefer.

I know Recon has beta alanine, cit malate, etc, but it's 27 grams of sugar per 40 g serve, with the rest being a prop blend, so you have no idea if you are actually getting clinical doses of the active ingredients. Unless you are training at an elite level you wouldn't notice any difference between this and 30 grams of fast carbs post workout.

@BigRedPanda 4G of Carbs, 2 of which are sugar, per serve. On what planet is that sugar powder?

I personally don't use either product, but fail to see anything in it's ingredients that would place that in my head.

So please, by all means explain to me, as I can't understand why you made that statement.

WPC is half of this products ingredients and costs $7 more? WPI is the more sort after ingredient as far as I have read, but I am open to others opinions, just from where I sit, it looks to be an empty argument.

      • Protein is protein (at least with whey - when you start looking at plant protein and bioavailability it becomes complicated), unless you are on a serious cut you won't tell the difference between WPI and WPC.

        • My bad also, I was looking at the ingredients for Combat :/ However, it is only 7 grams of sugar.

I just looked at my current product, well 3 that I am trying, Systema X Recover, now that has a high sugar content @ 33.3 grams p/serve.. http://healthywarrior.com.au/product/systemax/recover/
          Isowhey Complete http://www.isowhey.com.au/products/shakes/IsoWhey-Madagascan… and
          BSC Hydroxy Burn http://xtremewarehouse.com.au/34-body-science-bsc-hydroxy-bu…

I now realise the Systema X was a horrible purchase, next would be the Isowhey Complete then top of the ladder is BSC Hydroxy Burn.

I am shedding weight as well as trying to build muscle, thus the choices ;)

          @mapleice:
Biggest thing with weight loss is diet. Id suggest reading The Rapid Fat Loss Handbook by Lyle McDonald. Supplements might give you an extra 5% (with the exception of WPI - if you get good stuff it's an excellent protein source). Most fat burners are just caffeine + diuretic pills, at least the ones legal in Aus…

@BigRedPanda: Thanks for the tips! My diet is extreme at the moment, metabolism boosters, meal replacement shakes, no bread products and minimal sugar (tea tastes horrible without sugar). Do weights every second day and will start P90 in 2 weeks time. I will definitely check that book out, every little bit helps.

Just found a FREE COPY OF THAT BOOK, (first result), in case anyone is interested
