  • Nothing against the poster or the bagain - but the last time they were talking to fireman after a house fire was him holding to a powerboard and said had the owners spend a bit more on the powerboard, this would not have happened.

Just make sure it fits the Australian standard (I am not sure if there is any) - I am sure someone will post the answers!

All power boards must have an overload protection, thats about it

  • 4-way powerboards go for well under $5 at BigW/KMart, so I'm not sure how bargainy this is…

    • What is the actual product and price?

      • 'gobbo' i think is referring to the 4 power socket board, they don't actually have a surge protector, just an overload protector on them. you can usually get an hpm power board at bunnings for around $4 each, or 2 for $6 (last time i was there)

As for ops post, it's an ok deal. these are the sort of things you can grab at cotd small fish, so it's not top deal

        • Still after the actual product and price :) OP neglected those details and the page does not load for me.

No valid parramater was set for page!

          • @HueyData: oh sorry, completely misunderstood what you meant.

    • This one has individual switches, i guess thats the difference.

Hypertec is just the black version of a CABAC 8 way board (PB80).
They are excellent quality compared to the other cheapies - based on the specs.
