Good to see the new 3ds xl is $20 off rrp.

    • +1

Where is the link to this please?

      • +1

No link yet, just have to take Trent's word for it for now until the catalog is up.

        • +1

Lol I can guarantee you those are the prices in the catalogue

        • @TRENT86: Oh i know, wasn't doubting you.

        • +1

@TRENT86: How do you find out before the catalogues are delivered? I just got mine today

          New 3DS

          Console Page

        • +1

@zelda707: The catalogue is now in link guys :)

  • +1

I'm going to hold off on the upgrade to the New 3DS - there will surely be a special edition released alongside Majora's Mask.

    • +1

Doing the same thing. If a new zelda XL comes out and I already bought one I will be very sad :(

      • -1

but if the faceplate is swappable then what is the point?

        • +2

Sadly, XLs don't have swappable faceplates, only the regular sized 3DSs do. XLs only come in metallic black or metallic blue at launch.

        • @Mikeypants:

          that sucks…

XL suppose to be the best model

        • +1

          @tyler.durden:

I think they wanted it to look really classy because one of the Australian Nintendo employees was lauding the metallic design. But they forget most Nintendo fans are kids at heart :p

        • @Mikeypants: plus it's just the outside panels. a limited edition could have the entire unit a different colour and could have additional details on the inside.

    • Is there any point to upgrading to the new 3ds? I know there is a new pair of buttons being added, but aside from that, will the new games be backwards compatible?

      • +1

Faster processor speed, wont have any affect on games already out. But there will be a couple of games exclusive to the new 3ds (only Xenoblade announced so far). It also has the c stick so no need for a circle pad pro. The big thing for me is a better viewing angle for 3d, you don't have to hold the 3ds perfectly still anymore to see the 3d effect the camera tracks your head and adjusts on the fly.

        • -3

c stick is crap though, it is more like ones on the laptops

They should make it proper dual stick..

then u can play FPS, fighters better

        • If there is gonna be some exclusives, guess I'll wait for the pokemon editions of the new 3ds XL before going ahead with the upgrade =\

I bought my 3ds XL mid last year too >_>

        • @ProjectZero: Just to let you guys know, the new 3ds consoles have better cpu, upgraded 3D techonolgy with wider viewing angle, Nfc and Amiibo Support and Exclusive games

        • I'd say the processing speed will make a huge impact on games such as pokemon XY and OR/AS. Those games currently lag heaps, especially on 3d.

        http://www.theverge.com/2014/10/21/7025667/new-nintendo-3ds-…

the c stick is not that great

  • +1

How good is this deal for the Xbox bundle?

    • +2

Dunno if that was rhetorical or not, but in my opinion, the JB's #5 bundle is better value. Depends on how much you want the MCC I guess.

      • +1

It was serious, and thanks. After checking the prices on the games (Dance Central is $10 new, trails is cheap and Legends has been out for a while) I agree with what you've said. Probably cheaper to buy that JB bundle and sell the games as new.

  • Wheres the catalogue for this as it is not on their website, also the new 3DS doesn't come out until 21st Nov on EB, how are they selling beforehand?

    • Yeah all these deals go till 26th Nov, The catalogue isn't online yet

      • If these deals start on the 26th, can we still get EB to pricematch for a preorder that gets picked up on the 21st?

        • Yes

        • +3

Deal starts 13th, and runs till the 26th.

  • -1

Master chief but no forzas / sunset overdrive = no deal

  • +1

OP, you might want to fix this:

    Xbox 360 500GB Console + Forza Horizon 2 + Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 + COD Black Ops 2 $267

    • +1

      Thanks :)

  • Any 3ds games in it? Specifically the new pokemon

    • +1

      They are $44

      • Not bad, thanks. Shame it starts a few days after the release.

      • Where did you see that? And will they be available on the 13th?

        • No they will be available the same day the New 3DS Is 21st Nov :)

        • @TRENT86: Oh whoops, didn't realise the sale ends 26th, thought it was the start date. Thanks Trent!

  • How will this work with the new 3ds xl consoles? The sale starts 13th but they aren't released until the 21st.

    • The sale goes for 2 weeks

      • Ah, so on the 21st the pokemon and the console will be available for the sale price. Cheers!

  • is there any deal on bayonetta 2 wii u?

  • Good price for 3DS but need someone to confirm whether this includes adapter or not.

I read somewhere the Australia release doesn't include it.

    • +2

It won't include it. Extremely dodgy way for Nintendo to make an extra $15 if you don't already own a power cord from a previous 3ds.

      • +2

Please tell me that was a joke… if not, that is the most dumbest thing a company can do for their own product. Even phones give you a mini usb cable and adapter even though most people have infinity + 1 usb adapters and cable…

        • +1

          No joke.

        • @rukia:
          lol… Nintendo EPIC FAIL!

    • Yeah it doesn't, which sucks. I'm guessing it's to be in line with Europe (which didn't do it for the original 3DS/XL) and Japan.

  • So most of the Lego toys that were selling for $20 at BigW sale are now selling for $30 at Target and they call it sale?

  • Wii U? :( Smash Bros comes out on the 29th(?) where's my deal, Target?

    • The wii U bundle is crap :( $429

    • Throw in Windwaker and Zombie U instead and you might have a deal…

  • Anyone seen the Octonauts set of characters at Target before?

Ive only seen them at Toys R Us and they are sold out in Joondalup WA.

  • Noticed today that the Xbox One AC bundle without Kinect is 399 in store and online with free shipping. Good price.

  • I saw this person selling one from Nintendo 3ds XL fromToy R US Clearance… Good luck everyone! http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/southbank/consoles/nintendo-3…

  • The Xbox One does not come with Kinect; what the website says is a mistake. Just had to refund mine & the staff confirmed this.
