Two one act plays about a couple of Sydney's unique and iconic storytellers.
THE LES ROBINSON STORY is a one-man, comedy-drama that tells the story of the idiosyncratic Sydney writer and freelance journalist Les Robinson, an eccentric figure on Sydney's bohemian scene between the 1920s and 1960s, whose unconventional ways gained him much local notoriety. Based on Fremd’s experiences of living and working in and around the Cross in the 1990s, BELLE OF THE CROSS features a connoisseur of the pavement, stained with life's residue - blood, dirt, rubbish, condoms and bird shit.
The winters get colder while Belle waits for the thief who stole her money, and with it her life, to be caught.
