I think this deal with a free portable amplifier is better value than a free headphone stand.

I think the AP001 is supposed to be Brainwavs 2014 budget priced portable headphone amplifier.

  Just ordered some ATH-M50xs over the weekend, looks like these could have been a cheaper and still quality alternative… hmmm, to return the ATHs and order these or not. Any advice?

    Try to get your hands on an ATH-M50 or a variant and audition them before you cancel the order. If possible try out a HM5 (ie. Jaycar).

    The two headphones produce a different sound signature and sound stage.

    If you are after a comfortable headphone and like a warm, unoffensive sound signature then have a look at another OzB post which has a $35 sale on Philips Citiscape Uptown from DickSmith.

  Keep them both maybe ? Or go to local Jaycar and try them out because HM5 and the Jaycar one is exactly same from inside out beside the logo. And I've got the Jaycar before when they are still 79$….

    Darned it. Before I started my headphone collection I would have jumped all over a $79 Jaycar (or HM5) headphone. If you spot the Jaycars lower than $79AUD please share the love and post it on OzBargain. It would help more OzBargainers access hifi audio.

  I would also like to point out that people can also opt to get a pair of replacement HM5 earpads instead of the AP001 audio amp. The earpads come in different color and also in Velour material, they also are of the thicker type using the higher grade memory foam.

  This item is also eligible for free fedex shipping to Australia. Most fedex parcels would arrive within 3-5 days to most metro areas.

    Thanks Rep, when I went to checkout it didn't give me the option for free FedEx shipping, only free AirMail. And while I have you could you clarify your return policy and which country they would need to be shipped to if they weren't what we wanted?

      MP4 Nation has a 30 day full refund policy, if you're not happy with the product you would need to be sent back to us in Hong Kong.
