Doesn't work anymore. As per start here website "Please note that cashback will not be honoured on Groupon gift cards, including any Woolworths Group Gift Cards."

This is different to our other cashback offers, instead of cashback, this is a 5% immediate discount applied at the cart on checkout for all gifts cards when you access Woolworths Gift Card site from https://www.cashrewards.com.au/woolworths-gift-cards. Btw - We have tested this link and its working, let me know if otherwise.
With e-gift cards its very easy now to purchase a gift card from here and on top of the 5% get additional cashback online at Dan Murphy's etc or just take it straight down to any Woolworths store, Big W , Masters , Thomas Dux and Caltex Woolworths and effectively save 5%
We thought this would be useful to save directly 'everyday' on food and petrol via these cards and especially for those that do not wish to pay for an Entertainment Book membership this is now a new way to get these savings.

So far mine have all been delayed, it was a surprise to me the first time but most of my orders have arrived in the inbox next day.

For myself the eGift Card was delivered 4 hours after purchase.

I bought a $100 egift card yesterday and then went into my local Dan Murphys today they had no idea how to do it manually and then the manager came over and said that the option to enter cards manually was no longer available to them for security and fraud reasons. What the???
I used one manually at Willoughby store last week. The cashier didn't know how to do it, but together we found the right options. The egift card number entry is 10 digits (not 19).
I'm not sure about the issues in store, e-gift cards are relatively new so maybe some stores need more training. Remember you can also order online through cashrewards and pay with your e-gift card, get cashback as well and click and collect.
I use e-giftcard in store all the time. Just tell cashier payment by card. Then on EFTPOS machine enter 10 digit in-store egiftcard number, press enter. Then enter 4 digit pin. It works for me in WW stores.

I had been purchasing these for the past week, at least once every two days. Then I made a double purchase a few days ago and it messed up.
So, it's best not to purchase more than one wish gift card unless you are putting it in the same transaction.

you can use it in multiple transactions until its drawn down, just like a debit card
