Catch Of The Day - The Box of POOKI 6 Mystery Items for $9.95

14

After the fantastic Pressure Cooker from COTD that I'm sure every one agree was a real pressure cooker in terms of customers nerves now Catch of the Day proudly presents:

THE BOX OF POOKI. 6 MYSTERY ITEMS FOR $9.95

Actually it really shows the essence of Catch of The Day and their business model.

And what is this fantastic box of POOKI?
Here is your answer from the nice COTD’s owner:

  • "Pooki" was one of my baby daughter's first words, and it was her way of saying "Crap".
  • We've now adopted the word, to describe "Mystery Items"
  • Today for $9.95 you receive 6 such Pooki

HUH! He makes money out of CRAP!
Very nice in the face of those who try to justify this guy's practice.

Any way I guess it will be a bargain for someone need POOKI's! (or CRAP as COTD's owner likes to call it)

  • So this is RRP and not a bargain?

  • lol its just random shi…………..

  • neg, something we don't want when you can finally get on the site.

  • i could sell you a box of crap for less!

    • and i bet your website would work!

  • We bought one of these and basically got rubbish. Don't think the $1.50 item will be worth $10 or $20. Like the pedi groom, somewhere else on here - used to be $20-$30, or whatever, on tv, and now they are 5 cents pickup. About how much it cost to make.

  • +1

why does every single cotd have to be posted here?

  • I wish more people voted positive so more people could see this.
After all to be honest I posted this to show my fellow OZbargainers how COTD works.
    Cheers

    • "… I posted this to show my fellow OZbargainers how COTD works", do you mean in a good or bad light? If you meant in a bad way then your vote is still positive. If you were trying to show what CRAP COTD sells then surely you should have revoked the automatic positive and made it a negative. If you were also trying to show COTD in a bad light then your on purposely voting positive so a crap deal can make it to the front page, I don't think OzBargain is meant to reward bad deals, it and goes against what I think OzBargain was made for.

If you were trying to show COTD in a good light then this failed.

Do you really think Ozbarginers haven't seen COTD posts before (unless you mean purely about the pooki (aka CRAP (COTD's own wording))) or visited their site?

      • I didn't now that there is an automatic positive setting.
And yes this post particularly was suppose to be about the POOKI and the irony there.
I don't care about what COTD think or did they read here or not. The fact is there are many people (like myself) that they come here to find good deals and because they are new to the site, they fall for these kind of crap.
I tried to show that and I wish more people read this to know how they do business. You can tell this from my text.

It's really amazing that the COTD's owner (or who ever wrote that piece) even doesn't care about calling what a prospect customer may buy, CRAP!

Thanks for the voting clarification though. I didn't know that.
