Hi Ozbargainers!

We're back again with another crazy bargain for you all just in time for Christmas!

This time it's our gorgeous Italian Silk ties we're clearing at over 90% off our RRP of $79.95 - **now $5 each with $2 Shipping each, or buy 4 ties and get free shipping!

Many of you may have received one of these ties with our previous Suit clearance- so you know first hand how good the quality is!
For those who don't- these are 100% Italian Silk (except a couple which are Cotton/Linen/Silk blends - see eBay for full details), handmade in Italy at the Canepa factory, who also make silk accessories for Prada and Ferragamo. Basically, the Italians know what they're doing when it comes to silk so we think this is really a great bargain compared to the thousands of cheap and nasty silk ties floating around on eBay!

    Ozbargainers- we've hit an eBay technicality with the combined discount. We're going to make the listing $5 each with $2 postage per tie and give free postage on lots of 4 ties- hope that's ok, the listing will be updated in a few mins!

      yeah, it won't let us do a shipping discount rule for 4 items, only 'each additional item' - hence why you'll have to request total at checkout so we can do it manually before you pay. Ta!

    I can't do the "Request Total" thing either - gives the same errors as above - and at no point during the actual checkout process is there an option to "Request Total" - is the best thing to do to just complete the transaction for $28 then leave a note somewhere to ask for the $8 refund?

    Ok everyone, hopefully this massive PR disaster (hah) is sorted now - just to reiterate, everybody that paid for extra shipping on 4 ties should have received a paypal refund. Everyone else, the listings are now sorted out so if you are buying 4 just don't pay right away and we'll send through the invoice with the shipping discount.         I checked and we don't have 'require immediate payment' for our listing and quite a few people now have been able to buy 4, not pay, and we have successfully sent them an invoice with the $8 postage discount- I think you just hit 'buy it now' and then 'confirm' and that's the transaction done- no need to proceed with paypal straight away. Does that help??

          Ah gotcha. because I was adding them to cart, it wouldn't let me go down that path. I didn't choose the Paypal option and it's gone through now :)

    Thanks for the deal. I followed the instruction and bought 4 using "Buy Now" and Request the total from the seller. Then it says "Seller does not allowed for combine shipping". Total appear as $28.00. Pls let me know what should I do now.

      Ebay is a FILTHY LIAR! We most certainly do allow it but it's being a bit tricky, sorry. Did you place an order? Many people have been successfully sending us 'update invoice/total' requests which we are manually applying the discount to now, and some people just went ahead and paid $28 on paypal and we're issuing $8 refunds. Shoot us a message on eBay if there's anything else we can do to help and let us know who you are, because all the ozbargain aliases/paypal names/ebay aliases are so confusing :)

      Hi mate, they're Standard length and width which is about 9cm at the widest point at the bottom and about 148cm total length. We'll update the ebay listing with these measurement shortly, cheers!

      It's never too late! This is actually just a taste of the ties we are trying to clear… we have quite a few more styles and will be listing more in the coming weeks.       Hi himchar,

      As stated on eBay a couple of the styles have a blend of silk and cotton/linen as part of the design (this adds texture and allows for different weaves). This does not at all mean they are of an inferior quality- all the fabrics are Italian and the ties are handmade in Italy, with about 90% of the styles being 100% silk and the rest a minimum 60% silk blend. There are absolutely no synthetic materials used in the fabric. All the details of which specific styles are not 100% silk are on the eBay listing and on the tie label itself.
