Perhaps this price is valid in VIC only.
2 case for $26. I have ordered four cases for $52. then apply the 50-10 coupon. The final price is $42 for 4 cases.

i went into the store i was to collect from and there was a stack of crown lager slabs sitting there. i got the email last night regarding cancellation of my order. Was going to rip into employee but thought not his fault that somebody at coles head office stuffed up still as a customer they should supply
only received a confirmation email yesterday, but checked today and the money hasn't been transferred.
I just got the same cancellation email as well for my order. This is for click and collect from Richmond shop this evening. :(
Yep, mine got cancelled too. They sent me THREE emails in succession just to rub it in. Jerks.
received a cancellation email just now even though I have received a confirmation delivery email this morning. Look like cancellation email start to get through. :(
So now that the cancellations are mounting what does everyone think will be given as an alternative offer:
The same offer?
An alternative beer offer - maybe their house brand (that might be good marketing for them, if it is a good product)?
A gift card?
A real weak counter offer, like 2 six packs for $26?
Nothing?
Any other ideas?
my guess would be they'll keep the same offer, limit it to one (ie.e 2 cases) per person AND tie in a minimum spend in order to qualify for it.
They might limit the choice too - either VB or Carlton Draught - no snobby beer brand :( yucksss
Pretty sure they'll be giving away 2 slabs for $26.
I hadn't thought about a minimum spend to qualify until now. As long as it's not unreasonable & I can pick them up with my normal shop then it's all good.

$13 a case is actually about fair value for Crown Lager. The most overrated and overpriced beer ever!
I think there are quite a few other beers contending for that title.

I got the same. There's a special on the Crown cases at the moment, so with the credit works out to be a dollar cheaper. But, they said I could use it on anything.
@boozler, did you contact them before they sent you this email. I got offered this only when I contacted them.

Just an FYI for all, I just got off the phone to Coles Online CS to query the above, and why I still haven't received a response to my email.
The CS confirmed that they are sending out another lot of emails today and tomorrow to people that made an order for the 2 for $26 offer which had been cancelled due to the pricing error which led to overwhelming demand.
They are giving a credit to peoples' online account so they can purchase this offer again, or anything else they choose. I didn't catch the amount, but I'd assume that it's the same as boozler's $65 credit.
If you haven't received your credit by end of tomorrow, it'll pay to give them a call.
Now that's what I call service! If only DSE would offer this for their so-call pricing error cancellations!

I called Coles Online CS again just now to query where my "yesterday's email" was as I didn't receive anything (actually I did receive a follow up email yesterday to my previous email which said I'll be getting another email during that day about how to redeem the error… confused? lol).
The CS said that emails have been processed, however they are backed up to the sht due to so many of these orders (anyone say OzB?) so emails are trickling out. He said that the credit amount is on case by case basis, but said I should get around $80 credit for the amount I purchased. You guys getting $65 and $88 I'm guessing bought a sht load more?
Gotta say though, everyone should be happy to receive whatever they get, as it is pretty much free money.

@AnDyStYLe: no, it wasn't a tip :) I was just wondering if the email server was clogged as they said and therefore delaying the emails. And if they have applied the credit already to everyone's accounts…..because logically an email should essentially be the last step of the process.
I am in the same boat, ordered 2 cases with a bunch of other grocery's to get it to $50. They said I would get the credit but nothing yet.

got my $88 today too. Now I'm gonna chase them up on this extra $65 everyone else seems to be getting
I think the $65 (or more in some cases) was applied on the phone before the emails were sent. I highly doubt you'll be getting that now as they'll just refer you to the email. Still….. $88 for nothing.
