2014 Gaming PC Build- Some Recommendation Please

  • Quick thought looking at it - apart from the obvious (price) any reason you wouldn't want to upgrade to a higher res monitor? the GTX970 would run most games with good detail.
    Also, keyboard/mouse combo - might want to find a more suitable gaming setup. All personal preference of course, but the accuracy/flexibility you get with just $50/60 more is worth it.

    Instead of spending an extra $25 on a sound card you could spend an extra $25 on a better motherboard which has a dedicated sound card. Not only will you get better sound quality you will probably get better features and overclocking capabilities.

    just my personal view, 120GB of SSD is a bit small. I have a 256Gb SSD and it only has 70Gb free at the moment, I'm not that much of a gamer.
