I've used this company once before. Good price at the time (2 years ago), friendly and helpful service (organised a child's car seat for us, airport pick up/drop off), pretty bare bones kinda operation but it seemed to work. No complaints either way!

  • Careful about the rental agreement…

It says that you are liable and "will pay on demand", regardless of cause in case of an accident.

  • and helpful service (organised a child's car seat for us)

They all do that… or did they give it to you free ?

    • Doubt that it was free - I'd remember that :)

My statement about the service was meant to convey that they were happy to do these things for us, i.e.: that they were cheerful and responsive. I'm sure lots of other companies offer the same services but not everyone is cheerful about it, despite it being in their interests to be (or at least present as) cheerful.

      • but not everyone is cheerful about it

I've never had any issues with Hertz or Avis…

  • This isn't really a deal. I've rented cars 3 times in Brisbane over the last year. Each time, I've used Apex car rentals which is just outside the airport (they also have a free pick up and drop off service).

I've just done a compare of this company's Corolla vs. the 2012 Elantra that I' renting from Apex over the Australia Day long weekend in Jan next year. This company was much more expensive than Apex based on a $0 excess rental. Plus Apex gives you a GPS if you select their top works package, and they don't charge for child seats like most other companies.
