HP 11-2001 11" Chromebook (White) $253 @ JBHIFI

140

As the title reads, cheapest stock I have seen in Australia, not sure if you could get away with using the recent 20% voucher that was posted in another deal, it doesn't say anything about excluding computers. Easy enough to install a linux distro in place of the chrome OS if it's not your thing.

If you're actually going to buy 1tb of storage for two years, you could effectively get this Chromebook for $13…

  • What's this 20% voucher?

This runs the Samsung Exynos processor so this is one of the slower processors that are out for Chromebooks.

Personally I use the Toshiba CB30 so I am a fan of Chromebooks but it's just a matter of buyer beware.

If your requirements are low and you can stand being Googlified it's a sharp price.

For those who haven't - like many things it hurts to start with but feels good later on. (Or is it the other way around?)

  • Thanks OP for the post.. The bundled free 1TB Google Drive storage for 2 years is definitely an added bonus for me and was duly claimed after my purchase. Thanks cheese510 alerting us to that. All up, a very reasonable deal. Yes, this Chromebook is not the fastest around, but at the price point - meets my meager needs.
