I had a look - you can get under $500 return Gold Coast to Singapore in Jan.

I think you need to specify that the prices listed are Australia to Singapore only. Ho Chi Minh city is an additional $80 one way.

Possibly also worth including that timing is 0800-1200 AEST (0700-1100 Brisbane, 0500-0900 Perth and whatever else it is in other states which don't have originating flights).

Syd > HCMC …1 stop 25hrs
i guess it depends what you're after, but i'd rather pay double and fly direct with vietnam airlines approx 10hrs
or other major airlines eg cathay, singapore for 1 stop but 12-13hrs (2 hr stopover) - and get a better airline and flight

How come it is not working for me when I check the flights to Ho Chi Minh City?
I checked all the dates in early December and they are all $500+.
