Return Shipping to Amazon (USA)

Hi all, I ordered a Fossil watch from Amazon (US) and was sent wrong model. Contacted Amazon, unfortunately the model I ordered cannot be longer shipped to Australia. And in fact I can't find any Fossil watch that is shipped to Australia now.

Anyway, Amazon refunded me and ask me to return the item. I need to pay for the shipping cost first and Amazon will refund me. My question is: what's the best or the common way to do return shipping to Amazon that people do? The watch has lithium battery in it, will Aus Post take it? Please advise. Thank you.

  • As my knowledge, No battery will ship to oversea by Aupost that is silly policy. However, you can ship it with DHL which is quite expensive.

  • get a quote from Aust Post ..
Aust Post will send the watch back, make sure you get proof of send etc.

  • +1

I had an issue with a Kindle Fire I purchased. I explained to the Amazon Customer Rep on-line that because I can't ship back using Aus Post because of the battery issue, I would have to use DHL which was the same price as the Kindle. They agreed to waive the requirement that I send the Kindle back. Perhaps give that a try?

    • Lucky you… I have to send my tablet back anyway… $300 shipping is just crazy.

      • Ooh, Pack & Send says they can do about $120.

  • I have returned a watch to amazon before through Aust Post, at first they wont let me send it but then the manager gave an ok and said only rechargeable ones that they worry abt.
