I bought this exact one below from the UK 2 years ago for $14 (its about $15 now with free postage)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131305523126

Uses 2xAA batteries and lasts about 5-6 months with use twice daily.

I know the one in the deal has a inbuilt Ni-Cd battery (lasts for 5 days) but I prefer not having to charge mine for months at a time.

They both use the same heads but the Vitality Precision one in this deal operates at 7200 RPM where as mine operates slightly slower at 6000 RPM.

Depending on preferences and if you don't live near a Shaver Shop its $30 vs $15 both including postage.

You sir, just saved me $20 (buying 3 brushes) and found me one more use for my eneloops. Thank you.

Buy eneloops now, find a use for them later.

        • But the flyer says it has rechargeable battery!!!Am i missing something here???

        • @OzPunter: I already own this Electric Toothbrush. I don't know about the one on eBay, but the one from the Shaver Shop does have a rechargeable battery! It has a little "dock" that you plug in and it sits there recharging when you're not using it.

I'd go for the rechargeable one for sure! It's worth it!

@sagitox: Thanks !!1I got one today and yes it is rechargeable and comes with a spare head!!!

        • @sagitox: "I'd go for the rechargeable one for sure! It's worth it!"

But you will have to charge it every 5 days where as on the other one you change eneloops every 5 months. plus too many chargers in the house.

Battery powered though? Compared to rechargeable? You might lose what you saved on buying batteries!

        • you don't know about eneloops, do you.

Thanks for sharing. Its got to be more energy efficient.

    • Thanks for posting this. I already have one with an inbuilt rechargeable battery, but it only lasts about 4 days between charges, and I often forget to put it on the charger. A AA-powered one should suit me much better, as I always have some AAs on hand, so no problem when the batteries run down. I just ordered one from the UK.

  • Saw the same @ Knox today, plenty of stock. It's 55% off apparently, for reference.

This is also stocked at the good guys so you will be able to do a price beat.

I bought 4 about 3 weeks ago at 24 (when SS was $25) and went back to TGG yesterday for the 120% price guarantee. Ended up paying $18 each

  • Saw heaps at Chermside store(Brisbane).
    Many left.

  • So is it battery or dock? What's more effecient? The dock thingy works on radio wave type thing like a powermat, wireless. Inductive is the word.

Non-contact can't be that efficient, compared to say eneloops.

  • Thanks OP, got 2. Plenty at Charlestown Square (NSW). Also, they come with two brushes.

  • Just got one from macquarie centre, heaps left.

    Thanks OP

  • i went to the blacktown store, they charged me a 1.5% surcharge for amex

Best / cheapest place for replacement heads?

  • So any oral professional here care to explain what's the difference between this and other Oral B electric toothbrush which can go up to $200? Just so bizarre the difference in price

  • Plenty at Town Hall Sydney.
I got some replacement heads cause they said it's 30% off

unsure about how good the deal is but I just got braces so I thought id stock up.

  • Lots at the Chadstone (VIC) store
