  Confusing, that camera right now before the sale is $499 THEN $50 cash back, so it's cheaper to buy now. Is that right?

    Yeah, I'm confused too. The camera is currently listed at $499 on the site, but claims tomorrow during the sale it will be $549? Does that mean I should run out and buy this right now? Because I was planning on taking advantage…

      Well, I've been calling my local store for half an hour now to ask about this and can't get through to them. I tried calling the online sales support team, and got hung up on. Man, I hate DSE.

        I just went into Dick Smith and turns out it is $499, they made me do click and collect purchase on my phone to get it for that price, kind of annoying..

        He confirmed that it is $499 then the cash back afterwards so $449.

        Picking it up after work as I didnt have time to wait the 30 minutes for the click and collect to process

        Sooo they're a bunch of scam artists (known) and they're bumping up the price for the sale? Did they have anything to say about that?

        Perhaps, although I was literally looking at the time deals out of curiosity at the same time I was looking at the 3300 on their site and didn't see it listed. DSE is pretty infamous for doing this kinda stuff, though. Oh well, still a great price! :)

        Bought it for 499 earlier today, paid online and collected it after work. :) Guess it was a pricing error for a few hours, can't find the link I used this morning any more.
