    Honestly, my last two televisions I never ever used the inbuilt speakers. I'd be just as happy if they didn't come with speakers. Or a tuner for that matter…

  This looks more like an AD than a deal. Where is the bargain ?

    Where ? $2996 @ JB-HiFi and $3100 @ Dick Smith . Please let me know if there is a better price than this. I want to buy one and the best price I've ever seen was $2546, but now I cannot find a better price than this one.

  TGG has the 65 inch, without the speakers for $3100. by reports one of the best 4K tv's on the market.

      Didn't say the TV is bad but accurately produces deep blacks and whites with edge LED local dimming? And these people said the edge LED local dimming is so bad that they recommend you turn it off.

      one of the most noticeable issues in the TV, namely its edge LED based panel

      light homogeneity is not perfect

      during some scenes, mostly dark scenes, you will also notice how light clouding extends into the panel from each side. Some of these issues were visible even during daytime use

      We also experienced some dirty screen effect (DSE) issues

      we have turned off all dynamic contrast systems. Sony’s implementation of the dynamic contrast system is a little too aggressive even with the minimum setting, and you will experience sudden boosts in brightness when subtitles come and go. In practice it is very annoying to look at

      Our recommendation is to turn it off.

    Mind sharing? There are a handful of deals all around this price (+/- $50), but nothing earth shattering. Just want to make sure I'm not missing out!

    Though I'm leaning towards the Panasonic 4k now anyway…

    Please post it. I put this up because I thought it was a good price, but hoping someone would fine a better one. (For some people this one has free delivery).
