HP Family & Friends Sale. Up to 80% off RRP. Free Shipping to Metro Areas for over $50 Spend

120

Received this from a friend today and thought I would would share.

Make sure you click the original link up the top first which will set your session to the Family & Friends sale, then you are free to open up the links below. If you don't do this, you'll see public prices. Might also pay to keep the original link open in a separate tab all the way through until checkout to make sure the correct price is applied at checkout time.

Some of the prices displayed on the "sale" pages are incorrect also, you'll get the true price once you add to your basket.

Example on how to check the prices:

  1. Click the link (The ozBargain photo link in top right hand corner)
  2. Click on spectacular spring specials on the left hand side (First one I chose)
  3. Look at the goods and you will see RRP then the sale price
  4. Enjoy :-)

  • Is the regular price vs sale price shown anywhere?
(Ie how to tell what price is being displayed)

    • Yep. As you can see from the links I posted it says the RRP there and the now price. HP usually only post their RRP price so you can go use that as a proper "before sale" price.

      • Even when I click on your links I seem to be seeing the sale price but no rrp price. Using iPhone if that makes any difference.

          1. Click the link (The ozBargain photo link)
          2. Click on spectacular spring specials on the left hand side (First one I chose)
          3. Look at the goods and you will see RRP then the sale price
          4. Enjoy :-)

          @dazzywazzy:
Thanks. I was using the drop down menus which was showing the sale price but not the rrp.

Shows the RRP - can always grab the model number and shopbot it I suppose.

  • Any laptops with ssd?

I'm not a rep sorry and don't know that much about it all so you may have to check yourself :) Sorry about that.

    Thanks @dazzywazzy!

Any idea how long these deals will last? My existing multifunction laser printer is in pieces while I'm trying to fix it, and if it turns out to be unfixable I might buy the M177FW. But I don't want to buy it before I've put the old one back together, and it might take me a day or two…

    EDIT:
I just found the answer, but it's not too clear. Copy-paste from the website:
"Hurry, these spectacular specials end on 30 November 2014. Shop online or call us on 1300 301 559."

Not sure if they're still supposed to be available, or they forgot to remove the links. The prices still show up when I go to check-out, so it will probably work until somebody realises they've forgotten to remove the specials. Hopefully that person is on holidays for a while so I have a bit more time to consider my options! It's also possible they might cancel any orders before sending them out, but with HP that's unlikely.

    http://h20386.www2.hp.com/AustraliaStore/Product.aspx?pdetai…

About $1200 down from about $1900, and best I could see elsewhere was about $1500-1600.

    Thanks op.
